Update. Guess what my car is still not ready!!
I went to the service center at 12 and the SA told me that my car will be ready only by tomorrow evening :firey

SA spoke with his CRM and the lady said they don't have enough manpower to service Fiat cars. Then she said changing AC kit is time consuming as they have to go to 'Bhosari' to refill AC gas and then they will have to take the car to their Tilak Road service center for ECU re-map.

Now I know why SA mentioned about 60KM spin to check AC performance after changing AC kit.

After getting these updates from service center I simply dialed Arti Naidu's number and spoke to her. By the way she is Fiat's CRM. She was courteous enough to understand my situation and promised to get back to me in 5mins and she did. She informed me that she has done all the arrangements to complete remaining work so that I can get my car back by 6:00PM today.

Since I wanted my car back by evening as I had to travel out of Pune, I wanted to wait there and accompany them wherever they take my car. But then decided to postpone my trip and asked them to make the car ready tomorrow by 11:30AM. They agreed to that. Lets see how it goes.

Looks like officials at Fiat really want to help their customers but then somehow they failed to keep their service center guys on their toes.

Update: I got my car back today at 1:30PM. I think its waste of time even to talk about Fiat's service center that I death with. I will write to Fiat CEO and the team sometime later tonight.
If I had to rate them on a scale of 0-10 ('10' being highest rating), I would give them a straight '0'.

    Hi,

I have given my linea for 2nd servicing today at Tilak road centre. Advisor named Babbar attended to my vehicle and took down the issues which I mentioned to him. I have low KM(7000) as not much driving at my end.

Compulsory ACC upgrade would happen and he has quoted an estimate of 5200-5500. Is this reasonable?

Is this standard cost of 2nd service requirements(oil change/filter change etc)

He has advised that the car would be delivered on wednesday as ACC upgrade would take time.

    Kindly share your thoughts.

    regards,
    Nanu

Rs. 5200-5500 is an rough estimate. Be assured that it won't cross Rs. 4K. Two days back I paid Rs.3.9K for similar work. Out of which Rs.350/- were for some unwanted checkups suggested by SA at Pandit.

Thanks for your inputs..Sorry if my post was a bit confusing.

    Quote for - Oil change/filter change/Retro/ Wheel alignment + IR(don't know what this means) - 4500
    Serx.pk - 270
    AC filter cleaning - 450

I am trying to pull out the info from the job slip and the writing is pretty bad. I am still hoping that once I have the final bill in my hand, I would have more clarity on what has been actually done.

I haven't asked them to do anything additional so I believe I should be charged the standard cost for consumables and other basis stuff.

    regards,
    Nanu

I received my Punto yesterday late evening from Pandit's Akurdi service centre. Though I was asked to come at 4.30 PM, I was made to wait for more than an hour and got my car around 5.45 PM. This was my first servicing and I didn't have any issues (touch wood), except for a one deep scratch below rear left door that I got while taking out car from fuel pump during our Fiat factory visit (thanks to one fellow Punto driver for pushing his red punto, though there was no space there). I had asked them to fix that - and since mine is a new shade (Tuscan wine), I was rather concerned about how it would be done. But they have really done it up "perfectly", it is impossible to make out if there was any scratch there! So nothing to complain about in that case. However, they have got my car's registration number wrong in their CRM (rather Tata Motor's CRM) - the series itself is incorrect. None knows how to fix it - so I think I will have to write to Tata motors for this.

But I am more than happy with my Punto! :)

During my 1st service recently at Pandit auto, tilak road my raybans was stolen from sunglass holder.
Couple of issues were not handled even when mentioned explicitly. Had to wait more than an hour to get them fixed.
Funny part, couple of days after delivery I got call to get feedback. For 1st point when I gave true rating, the hung up. I'm sure my feedback will be faked and untrue rating will be taken.

My linea is due for AC upgrade but I really don't want to give my car to pandit auto, but have no choice!

Fiat please get another service center in Pune.
May be having company operated center will be great as manufacturing is too nearby.
