This is exactly what happened to me as well at KHT Whitefield - the SA was Bharat. He said the exact same thing to me that they need to fill the gas and see where the leak is coming from. He said the problem could be anywhere and maybe either the O-ring,condenser/evaporator coil, pipes etc must have been damaged. They said he would need to keep the car for 2 days to be able to find the root cause and fix it.

The first day when I called he said the O-ring was fine, so they are checking the coil - later in the same day he said the coil is damaged and they will procure a new one (and since I have ext. warranty it will be no charge). I said fine, when can you give me the car? He said tomorrow morning saar. So I wait for a call the next morning (because I had asked them for a drop off as it was a working day for me). No call, when I finally get Bharat, he says no sir the Coil is fine, there is something else going on and we have to investigate further. Next day he said they suspected it to be the condenser , but end of the day same result - can't figure out where the problem is saar.

By the 3rd day, I had already stopped talking to Bharath and instead was speaking only with Shivaram (the cust. relationship manager or something). Shivaram arranged for a spare car for me (which I appreciate was a good gesture, albeit they gave me one of those demo cars and I was now advertising for fiat as I drove around).

2 more days and they were still "working on it". Finally this went on for all of 5 days and after a lot of heated calls , Shivaram confirmed the car is ready and will be delivered - I politely asked what was the problem and guess what ?? He says the O-Rings needed to be replaced - I mean like seriously?? So, after 5 days and ripping out my dashboard and everything, all you had to do was replace the O-rings??? It's a different story that by removing the dashboard they had completely cut the wires from the HU to the subwoofer and the orange back lights for the right side switches (head lamp angle adjust etc) are not working now.

The a/c is back in action now, but I really doubt the folks at the KHT service center have the requisite training and/or competency to repair the A/C. I can't comment on engine/transmission issues because fortunately haven't faced any of those until now but I shudder to think if they used a similar approach there as well

Overall, pretty horrifying experience as far as the A/C issue was concerned.

That's good news - what is the seating capacity of the lounge? Is there a website/contact if we want to organize some party?
