    SA assured to deliver car tomorrow morning by 11 AM. I'll wait for that and let me see what they have done for past four days.
    Since the Vecto Motors is very far from my office place I didn't have any option to moving out of this KHT,
    my frustration gone to the level that I'm hoping to end up this as my last visit to KHT :sad:

    your welcome buddy. plz talk to GM service person also to tousiff. he sure will try his best n use all known contacts @sc to get you the good service.
    then you can decide to end or not. this is India, its all bound to happen. sometimes we need bit of patience n jugaad ways at times.

    Zen - Touseef is the Sales Executive (SE). The issue is service related. Please do not get offended, but don't you think you are getting involved too much? You already bought the car. The business will appreciate you referring more potential buyers. But the same may not be true, if you keep asking for special treatment for yourself and people you refer. I at least know of one such person, who kept doing exactly what you are doing and was called by the dealership (not KHT) and asked to back off. I hardly see any activity from him in any of the forums after that.

    The service centers will remain what they are. No matter what you do, they are not going to change. BTW, I had booked online for my 2nd free service with the very same KHT. They did not even bother calling me back. If you like them, please use them. If some one has had a bad experience with them, then so be it. Do not take it upon yourself to set things right, when they are beyond your control. Please look up the The Serenity Prayer.

    Even when I booked my service appointment, there was no follow up call. As completing the scheduled service is my requirement, and because I did have some helpful contacts at KHT, I chose them. I had never been to Aadya or vecto and didn't want to experiment with my car.
    As I mentioned earlier, lack of communication in a professional manner is a problem at KHT.

    Yes i agree that he is an SE. But as per his words, he knows couple of guys @SC with whom he can put up his words to get things resolved at the earliest. I also thought of the point that i might be getting too involved but i refrain myself going a step further than just referring people and requesting tousiff to assist them.

    No, i am not asking for any special treatment for myself or the people who i refer. Its for the whole community guys i would request KHT or any other service center to provide good service. Please note, its just a request.

    Nope, i am no where involved myself too much rather than just providing right contacts of the people who could help a bit more than what is already happening. I make sure i do not step over the limits.

    This is what bothers me the most. I spend a big chunk of my hard earned money to buy a car. Then I am expected to have some "helpful contacts" so that I can get my car attended to properly, while giving them business at the same time.

    On a lighter vein - I got an SMS from Manipal Motors, when I booked my Palio for first free service - "Your Indica Taxi, with regn number xxxx is booked for service on .......". I guess no communication is better than this communication :D

    Guys,

    Got a message from TATA motors that my 2nd service is due by Aug 4. Confused :(

    Bought on: 23rd Oct 2012
    Second Service: 12 months or 15000/- (Isn't that the case)

    So why they are asking to get it done by Aug 4

    Excellent example of a nice initiative with poor execution. I did not know that the dealership sent out service reminders. I did not get one, ever. But looks like they goofed the dates up.

    Pathetic situation it is. The helpful contacts know that I will create a scene if my car is properly attended to, calling almost everyone in the world. If that model works for me, I am happy, though I will not call it a great model.
    LOL. Maybe they believed then can/will sell only Indica taxis and configured their systems for that.

    Some People on earth aren't smart off enough to take the clue what has been said and why it has been suggested. Its better to move on.
