I guess that Wuerth thing is do with the windshield washer solution added to the tank. They dont add anything, the only thing they do is to charge it on the bill. Hook or crook they simply want to make money.

Hope Adit is watching this and training his boys in a way where their intention is not to l***.:A :thumbs down

1 ml may be couple of drops. Googling tells me that it is a screen wash additive. May be the wind screen itself will dissolve if you add too much of it :D
I have never seen this in my bills last three and half years.

Its a windscreen washer additive guys.

It's a pink colored fluid in a small bottle about 10ML if I am not wrong which costs 85 INR. Technically, as per the instructions on the bottle, only half a bottle should be used for the entire sump(~2L).

These guys at KHT managed to damage my brand new 3M sun-film on 2 of the windows, plus a minuscule dent on the right door caused by a moron opening the door of an adjacent car there, due to the poor parking space.

But yeah, amongst the various TASS centres, they seem just decent enough.

I assumed as much from the description. What I thought was weird is the price and quantity used.

ok well i saw that i i definately do not appreciat the words "loot" "conn" and "robbery".......if there was an issue an sure he paid the bill after seeing it ?? could he not ask what it is....could he not clarify what ever he had to before paying ?? never the less i shall check on this also......

what we charge is according to a business model that is followed and prescribed.....cotton waste y is it charged ?? who else is gonna bear the cost of tht ?? i dont get it for free either ...... now tht brings it down to a bigger picture that we buy cotton waste depending on the monthly consumption - now how much is used for each vehicle tata fiat or safari or nano cannot be calculated na ..... that cost also is set that on an average basis.....it is definately not possible to charge based on actuals for which i will hv 2 weigh the amount of waste issued to the car and how much is used - like really tht is possible..........if u hv an issue pls clarify it on the spot and make a scene out of it......get an answer before u PAY......satisfy yourself and then pay......

Adit - either you represent KHT here, or you are another member like the rest of us. This is a free world and each of us are free to express ourselves. Agreed that the cost of cotton waste and superglue has to be passed on to the customer, hence the charge for consumables. I am sure that the washer additive is something that is not that expensive. I mean 89K for a litre? It is probably a data entry error. You choose to adjust the quantity accordingly, rather than correct the error. I mean, how do you measure 1 ml? You cannot even weigh cotton waste used, right?

Sure, you do not appreciate the usage of a few harsh words here. But they are justified nevertheless. When we get charged for cotton waste and superglue and also get charged for consumables, that is not too straight forward, is it? To make matters worse, another member has posted saying it was removed on questioning. Not sure why that should not be termed conning.

If you represent KHT here, please give justifications for the billing, the way things work in your place, so we all know what is right and what is not. If you are just another member, then please stop defending KHT. Why is it that you are expecting customers to scrutinize the bill, go over it with a fine tooth comb, question everything including spelling mistakes and then pay. Whatever happened to old fashioned honest, ethical business?

it is a company policy and the industry practice.....how does a dealership make money 2 survive....we r in BUSINESS....not CHARITY.......it is legit and charges r collected for services rendered.......customers crib about discounts - given from my margin.....crib about service bills - who is supposed 2 bear tht cost ?? where and how am i 2 make money 2 run my business ?? how am i 2 earn to pay salaries, interest , rent ?? really think logically....... everything a dealership charges is LOOT , SCAM AND CON ??

if u dont want 2 check the bills dont..but after tht dont crib also then.....YES I AM FROM KHT AND I OWN IT.... i have been brought up with honest business ethics .....that is what i practice ......

u say its a free forum and you can use such harsh words.....fine b my guest..... :)

    bye

No one is asking you to do charity. I for one do not expect discounts for being a member in any forum. I do not even put forum stickers on my car. And no one is cribbing. All that is being asked is an explanation for the consumables charge, when even cotton waste and superglue are already charged on itemized basis. We all know that you own KHT. There is no need to shout that out. My question was - Are you representing KHT here? If so, please explain the charge for consumables. That's all.

You conveniently chose to ignore the question about that 89K/litre fluid. Please do note that I did not use any harsh words here. I am only asking you to justify why the usage of harsh words is offending you. You for one do not have any issues posting emails that customers / your own staff exchange with you, which has personally identifiable data such as chassis number / vehicle registration number, here on a public forum, but do not want to explain what that "consumables" are that have been charged for.

Industry practise, you call it. The times I went to your workshop with my Palio, I was never charged for cotton waste. Must have changed in the recent past. I guess the day you get your bill for food in the restaurant, where you find things like Onions Rs.x.00, garlic, Rs. x.00, cooking charges Rs. x.00, menu printing, Rs. x.00, staff salaries, Rs.x.00, so on and so forth, is not too far. Add service charges to that and also consumables. :A :A . It is really disheartening that you are not getting the point here.

If you have indeed been brought up with honest business ethics, good for you. All we expect is that you also practice it.

I know I am off topic on this, but an answer was needed since the question was placed and this charge does add up the maintenance cost albeit by a few decimal places :) If this response is irrelevant to the thread, then kindly delete.

It may not be in his case. But I have seen a couple of Puntos which went for service at KHT (my close friends where they were charged for the windshield washer fluid + water top up) and when the delivery was taken, the windshield washer tank was literally empty. On questioning, the removed this charge without any resistance. Then erstwhile Mr. Vinod (SA) was the one responsible. Also the same happened when I had given the Palio for the Clutch overhaul job. So spoke out of personal experience, not hearsay.

By the way this happened in Viva Toyota Service center too. They added topped up windshield washer fluid when it was already full only to be caught. :evilsmile. So not generalizing it against KHT.

Why I sought Adit to take notice is, he is taking pains of building a reputed business, which should not be spoilt by adding these things to the bill when it was not done which will leave a bad taste to the customer. These things might not even reach him unless brought to notice.

I have moved it to service center section.
Charged for water top-up:confused:? Charge for windshield washer fluid is understandable.
I think best way, as Concorde does, just top-up with plain water and don't charge, unless some specifically request to put windshield washer fluid or so.
