I had visited KHT Motors two times without appointment. Both the times was attended to immediately as soon as reported at the reception. Second time , they replaced the Lock at the Dicky under warranty within 1/2 hour

I feel TASS nowadays focussing on making money from FIAT cars. Be carefull all TFians.

Sometime back I changed my clutch kit @KHT, bangalore, and they changed some suspension parts also.
My personal feeling is, the SA took advantage of me not being present there (as I am in US), and changed lots of part which I doubt was actually required, or atleast could come under extended warranty.

I talked to SA over phone and asked for claim for clutch change and he instead claimed for suspension parts change which I never asked for nor I had any knowledge why it was changed !! The claim was duly rejected by FIAT (see attched).

My wife was there but I could not ask her to discuss in detail with SA as she has limited knowledge about cars mechanicals.
I could not postpone the service, as she was facing problem of hard clutch. Hence under that circumstances I had no choice but to let the SA take the call and make a kill. I cannot fight from here over phone/mail, just another story of how TATA ASS makes money from FIAT owners.

However the quality of work seems good (as per my wifes experience) and she has no problem now.
I am posting this to let all fellow TFian know that unless you scrutinize the problems/solution given by SA yourself and take alternative suggestions from other shop/person, TASS is always happy to change parts and they are reluctant to file a claim or doesn't care whether the claims is accepted or rejected.

In this case I asked to claim for clutch and the SA knowingly claimed for Suspension which was not even asked for.
What an unprofessional attitude towards work.

Also see the washing and vaccuming 350/- !! When you service your car washing is usually free.
Dont know what Vaccuming they did,
as I told you if you are not checking every point they will make money everywhere possible.

I assume your car is 35K+ KM run, so suspension claim was rejected as per manuals.
Also, normal clutch wearing will not be claimed under warranty.

Only issue I see is the SA didn't inform you why he is not claiming for Clutch. However he did try for suspension, sometime Fiat does approves these claims, on goodwill basis.

And yes, for washing, Concorde never charges.

One more thing which caught my eyes is Elastic pad's changed only for RH side, whilst I remember reading/hearing that it should be changed at either sides. Also some batches of Elastic Pads where faulty without a cap which meant that water entered and damaged them, So kindly check if yours was one of them. If the LH side is having the old design please put the cap which is provided by Fiat.

The problem was hard clutch. In this forum I have read numerous threads where it was discussed that how TASS is changing clutch kit for hard clutch problem.
Also in extended warranty it was written that burnt and wear out clutches will not be replaced. Many TFian got clutch replaced under warranty for hard clutch.
He tried for suspension but I was not aware what was he going to claim in the first place. Only after everything was done I saw this piece of paper. I cant comment more as I could not inspect my car myself and I have to pay the price for that. May be the SA could not follow my request 100% over phone or whatever, let him take the benefit of doubt.

How much your clutch was run? I mean to say the clutch normally they replace, under warranty, if wears out pretty early, making a case of faulty part. If your clutch run normal life, roughly more than 30-35K, it can't be replaced under warranty.
