    Yes this is big turn off, if KHT is charging on credit cards.
    Vecto doesn't charge anything extra, so KHT ideally should not charge.

    There may be some banking charge involved, but as standard practice in Bangalore, no one charges this to customers. Hope Adit reads this and takes some appropriate steps.

    KHT review fourth service -- Important-- not happy.

    Got the fourth service done at KHT (JULY 14th). Experience was fine the time I picked my vehicle.

    But after one/two days, I started seeing below issues.
    1. Reverse Gear was not engaging.
    2. AC was making lots of noise.

    I took vehicle for inspection. KHT inspected and fixed the issues, and told me that probably clutch plates are wearing out, the reason gears are not engaging.

    But again both points are back. I am facing issue in engaging gears (not as smooth it should be) and AC is making some noise. ( i am fine with the noise if they say technically nothing is wrong.)
    Now the BIG thing, sometime now, I am seeing Engine Protection System failure light( not always, if I switch the engine off and on it goes).


    I am kind of worried considering after sales service and technical competency at KHT. After servicing, I started seeing issues, prior to that there was nothing wrong.

    Not to mention that the service adviser is extremely courteous, he listens and acknowledge. But from technical competency perspective, I am worried.

    Vecto does not charge this additional amount only for the service. However, they do charge for the sales related or accessories purchase which is very weird. It is either you charge or dont charge irrespective of the sales counter or the service counter.

    PS: I am against these additional charges in this age of e-money be it debit card or credit card.

    Adit updated in FMC that he discussed the matter with his CFO and starting August 1st 2014 all such charges will not be there.

    Completed the 5th year service at KHT.
    Issues to be fixed were-
    -rear right suspension noise. Though they said this was because of the leaky shock absorber and replaced it, I am not 100% sure whether this is the root cause. Because I hear the noise even now, though not always.
    -Right fender alignment post tinkering and painting was not proper. I has asked them to fix this, but is not perfect even now.
    -There were spray paint dots on the menu buttons caused while painting the door last time. I had asked to clean this. Somewhat done, though not perfect.
    -Replace PS and AC belts: Completed. Steering has become very smooth after the PS belt replacement. Good work there.

    On a side note, SAs have a tendency to focus more on billable items than resolving the reported issues. Some the work I did not want to be done were
    -engine flushing
    -Putting Some cleaning liquid in windshield wash and wipe reservoir. This was done inspite of me asking not to do. Just rs.100/, but it adds to the bill.
    -3M cleaning. I decided I will do it elsewhere, since they were not sure whether the stains on the seats can be removed. Costs 1000+, dont remember the exact figure.

    I have a feeling that it is time for me to find a good FIAT-knowledgeable local mechanic.

    Now after reading this, KHT will tell me "please visit us, we will fix everything". Located 15+ kms away, I need to spend a whole day away from work again for this. Add to this, the effort to drive through whitefield traffic during peak hours. And I don't want to use the pickup and drop facility again.

    Hello,

    Got done 1st service of my Punto Emotion from KHT.
    Service contact person from KHT - Shaba

    Issues to be addressed.

    1. Occasional Noise from Rear shock absorbers , as occupants get in & get out.
    2. Wheel Alignment & balance to be checked. -Steering used to drag a little.
    3. Under body rust coating.
    4. Add the 3rd screws missing from Mud guards (these were fixed only by 2 screws earlier).
    5. Glove box alignment not proper.
    6. And the regular first service as per the Fiat guideline.

    Out of all the six above only point.4 was done to my satisfaction.
    Also believe KHT to taken care for Point 6. (First service as per Fiat guideline)

    1. Noise from Rear shock absorbers , as occupants get in & get out.
    I was told oiling & greasing has been done to rectify the issue , but not sure about this.
    Occasional Noise stills exists & not sorted out.

    2. Wheel Alignment & balance to be checked. -Steering used to drag a little.
    Earlier I used to feel heavy vibration above 80km/h , but the same was brought under control by Madhus.
    But wanted this to be checked again by KHT to be sure. (This turned out to be my mistake)
    Although there is no notable vibration from steering , the Car drags to left.
    I have to go to Madhus & spend the money again.

    3. Under body rust coating.
    This was not done & not charged.
    Reason - Some pump issue , car cleaning got late , so on & so on.
    Whatever I was ready to pay for it & have reached service center well in time, this should have taken up.
    Why would I worry about all the internal problems.

    5. Glove box alignment not proper.
    Addressed , but not to perfection.

    I stay in vidyaranyapura 30+ kms away & work in Belandhur. Went there based on the positive feedbacks from this forum, but KHT did not live up to the expectation.
    When I got a call for feedback , I told this issues , they said to please come back to address the issue.
    But everyone knows the time required to reach the place & to spend the time on working day again!!!!!!!!

    Positives.
    I was attended on time.
    Was served tea.
    Ambience was pleasant.

    But I was not there for the above, what matters have not met the expectation.
    I really understand such service are really based on workmanship & internal process.
    KHT ,,,,,Time to relook & improve the internal process.
