    Do you know if a police complaint was filed ? You never know a year down the line you may get a court summons for a hit-and-run case.

    Don't want to scare you - but there's a possibility that the biker may file a case.

    They told me that the biker was alright and settled the issue there itself. I will check again. Anyways, I am keeping the slip given to me by the driver while taking the car, just as a proof that I was not driving the car. I understand that any legal notice always goes to the owner, not the driver.

    Good, I assume it is not a darker shade. Even I did paint work in Concorde on my front fender, as the paint pealed at one place due to some liquid falling on it(though not sure about the liquid which fell on the paint, only noticed when I cleaned the car). Concorde repainted the entire fender, even though the peal was 1cm. The color match was perfect and excellent when I got the delivery, but after a year or two I could see a significant difference between the fender and the bonnet/door color, though I feel sad whenever I see the difference, but learned to live with it. I don't think OEM color could be matched unless the entire car is painted so there are no differences.

    It's minimal grey(silver). It looks alright for now. Hope it continues to remain so.

    Hi,

    I got the first free service done for my Punto 90HP black at KHT, whitefield today. It has mud all around the car and anyone could hardly guess that the vehicle is for first service.



    I called KHT number - 9035002301 on Monday for appointment. Someone lifted the call, he wasn't very responsive and said that I ll receive a call back. I think I have called again on the same day 3 more times but no confirmation. Atleast they didn't even bother to note down my car registration number.

    I called on Tuesday and told in a little higher tone that, I ve called them 5 times before day and no response or confirmation regarding the appointment. That guy got cautious and immediately noted down my details and asked to drop by at 9 am today. Good, Finally!!! But, I was hoping for a better experience.

    Today, I was there by 9pm sharp and Mr.Ashok asked me if I am the one who booked yesterday. I said yes. He was attending another red Punto and requested me to wait for few mins. It was hardly 5mins and Ashok is ready to attend my car.
    All common tasks noted in job card, he could not find any existing minor scratches due to dirt. I said, don't worry, there is no major scratch yet.

    I have given my complaints:

    1. A cigaratte dropped inside from the gap between front wind sheild and dashboard. Sound wierd? Well, I cannot help. It didn't fell down on the ground. So, I really don't know where it is lying inside.
    2. Engine noise levels are little high. He said it is normal but he will get it checked if there is anything wrong ( I don't think they did anything for this ).

    Estimation : cost : 300rs, expected delivery : 4pm.

    Got a call by 345pm from Ashok. I was informed that car is ready.

    I went there and the next complaint on today's experience - front part surrounding the grill area is not cleaned properly. All the stains to due insects hitting the front on the highways are still very evident. I reported to Ashok and he responded quickly and ordered cleaning dept to take care of it then and there. I was happy that service executives are very responsive to customers.

    Bill was ready. Me and Ashok went for short TD. I could clearly fell that air filter is clean and hence a notch better pickup is very evident. Engine noise is still the same - But, I am convinced hearing the same amount of noise from other cars as well. May be it is my perception after moving from petrol to diesel engines.

    Overall experience : 9/10 ( except the initial niggles to get an appointment and cleaning dept. ).

    Mr.Ashok is patient enough to hear what I said and is very for responsive for any concerns. He told multiple times before I left the place that -- "sir, please drop by if you have any problems. I will get it solved "... Some kind of responsibility that customer would look for.

    With that, my 15k service will be most likely at KHT again. :) Thanks KHT and Adith for having pretty good team.

    First service should have been free of any cost, did you change anything in the car for paying 300Rs?

    I think they have started charging for consumables. ( all oils topping up to max level )

    In my opinion they should not have charged for these, Oil levels should not have reduced to great extent (for first 5000 kms), and top up should not have been charged.

    Would suggest to have word about the same with them as they should not be charging single rupee for first service.

    You could write to service.india@fiat.com and get the same clarified if necessary.

    Naruf for any vehicle i feel the the initial run in period oil consumption is more compare to opened up engine.... I checked while my first service that yes oil levels are less compare to delivery time... but level is not that great extent. Hence for a precautionary basis FASS top-up the oils... IF one opted not to do they will not do.
