    Hey Adit, good to see you here on and off. I have got few niggles in the new Punto I had bought couple of months back.
    Nothing major, so not feeling like travelling through the nightmare from BTM.
    Wish you had a service centre in south banglaore!

    Hi Adit,

    My experience has been less than perfect at your station. A while ago, I got into a small accident and I had to replace my LHS-rear door. Initial inspection showed everything is fine. Then I noticed that a sticker on the door pillar was not in place. When I looked at the invoice, it was already billed (I had paid up when I noticed this). I've made upteen trips to resolve this and to date I still don't have it. I keep getting told that it is out of stock or that Fiat is delaying. If it was so, some co-ordination between your Stores and Body shop would be the least of the solution. It is now 4 months, and I find it hard to believe that your team cannot obtain this from Fiat. More importantly, billing a customer *before* the goods are delivered is simply unacceptable. Secondly, there is already a rattle in the LHS-rear door when the windows are down. I only noticed it much later, when I was out on a trip with my family. Till then I never rolled the windows down and I never noticed it. To me that is not good workmanship.

    During this time, my front struts mount had some issue. I was not in the mood to return again, but I decided this experience was a one-off thing. Again, the workmanship has left me un-satisfied. After leaving the vehicle for 2 days (which included time your team requested to get the door pillar sticker and ultimately didn't get), when I took possession of the vehicle, the first thing I noticed that there is a squeak from the steering wheel/column. It is was right there, no going over potholes or anything. Your team sprayed some anti-rust around the front wheel assembly, the squeak was gone and they assured me that it was rust forming. I didn't buy it and sure enough 2 days later the squeak was back. Why wouldn't your team do these basic tests?

    I bought this car knowing that after sales was going to be an issue, what I find hard to understand is why there are these *basic* issues. My 2nd service is coming up and I don't know what to expect this time. I can honestly say that I've gone more times to a service centre with this car than my earlier Indica.

    Mr. Javid visited and did a quick inspection. He has assured me of changes (hopefully for the better!) and a quick resolution. Here is wishing for the best.

    I bought my MJD1.3E from KHT Motors at Whitefield. Buying experience was average and service experience has been average as well.

    Pros -

    1. The actual work shop is good , *if* they agree to do a work , the quality of work is fine. Work shop managers ( Esp. Mr Raghavendra Rao) have a very helping attitude.
    2. Location wise, it is fine as both point of sale and service center are located near my house.
    3. Warranty issues (till now) have been promptly taken care of.

    Cons -


    1. Extremely difficult to get the service manager's attention to the point that they will be rude.
    2. Of late, my Punto has gone to the service center twice and
      1. the first time, they badly soiled the front seats and but large scratch mark on the rear view mirror.
      2. This time around, they stole the CD in my music system, emergency flash light and 4 other items present in my car.
    3. Very difficult to get any realistic time frame for service completion - they seem to have a policy of if not asked then don't tell. If you do not keep on following with them often then do not expect your spare part or service to be done on time.
    Hiring more service managers should help.

    Hello everybody. I'm new to this forum and I stumbled on this website while trying to find another good service centre in whitefield. The last experience i've had with KHT motors has been quite unpleasant. Mine is a 2009 Palio MJD. I had given the car for it's servicing at 32,000 kms. at the time i gave it, the problems i was facing with the car was that the gears started getting sticky. It would make a krrrrrr sound whenever i tried putting it in reverse. The advisor i interacted with was Kuldeep. He said that it could be a problem with the pedal bracket due to which the clutch was not engaging properly or it could be a problem with the clutch assembly itself. On checking this they determined that it was the pedal bracket. This was changed and the service done and returned. this resolved the issue with the gear shifting.

    However, to change the bracket, they had to remove the steering wheel and it looked like there was some work that had to be done within the car. but this left my driver's and passenger seats with some grease stains. I brought this to the attention of the advisor. all he said was that it was becuase the car was washed and the interior was wet whcih looked like stains. However, the next day the stains were still there. I had to clean it the best i coudl with a Sonax upholstery cleaner. However this was just the beginning of my woes. Now everytime i tried steering the car there was a high pitched sound similar to a brake which has gone bad. I took it back to the service centre a couple of days later. they said they will rectify it. when i got it back i did not hear the sound right away so thought it might be rectified. but while driving away, the sound came back. i had to visit the service centre again. this went on for a couple of times but thy were not able to fix the issue. finally they agreed that another part needs to be changed because aparently the steering column was not touching another part somewhere. they said that the spare for this was not availble and would need to be ordered. after weeks of following up and loosing my cool more than once and getting the reply that the spare had still not come, the service in charge sivaram informed me that it had finally arrived but only when i went there to confront them again and not by them taking the initiative to call me back.

    the other problem that i started facing after this service was that the RPM kept dropping while shifting gears and with the AC on the car switched off more than once while driving. I asked them to fix this. They could not find out what the problem was with the car, and to make it even more frustrating, sivaram started showing me another palio MJD which he said had the same problem. I escalated this to the service centre in charge Mr Javed who said that they would have to get a technical person from Fiat to come and check it out.

    this is after 1 and half months of following up after the last service. now due to christmas and near year's i'm unable to leave my car with them which they said they require atleast 3 days. I will go back to get these problems rectified.

    Guys, if you know any good service centre in whitefield for Fiat please let me know. I have seen Bosch on the brookefield road and Mahindra multi brand service centre on whitefielld road opp the HP office next to the shell petrol bunk. if anyone has experience with them or know of any good SC please let me know.
