even i am guilty of not having checked the bill properly and not noticing minor items, but i think concorde also does this. check item no 5 in this post, something by the name 'All Purpose Cleaner' : http://www.teamfiat.co.in/dealershi...-maintenance-cost-ownership-5.html#post112653

I had never asked for it..

Thats makes me go back to my spreadsheet, and I have "All purpose cleaner: Rs.87.34" in my bill! Yes, from concorde. But they added some shampoo-like liquid in the reservoir. I can see that when I do a wash and wipe.

Concorde never did to me, so I thought they don't do to anybody.:)

I know most of the time these small items are not noticed, even I don't notice these, and never criticise the SA, because whenever I asked for any items, they satisfied me, why they have charged.

Mr. Adit has a Tjet so he is like us, a member with a Fiat car, who happens to be the owner of KHT. That will be better than The owner of KHT registered at TFT as a member(to defend KHT or settle our query). We would like people to resolve the issue at KHT itself and report it here as they do for any other dealer. I think the presence of Mr. Adit will defenitely help to resolve the issue since he will be able to see the situation like a customer see it and can offer a helping hand. Let us avoid any direct question like "why it is like that why the KHT doing it like that way" etc etc. The same will be applicable even if the CEO of Fiat register here as a member.:)

guys the 87 rs is the cost of the washer fluid. that is added to the water.

u are not charged for the water.

i do agree that bangalore has scarcity of water:evilsmile........

but the 87 is the charge for the bottle of fluid that is added in the tank.

Agree when that is done. But what was added when the tank was empty :evilsmile

Anyways, You are there now to take care of such small issues don't happen. But again, it should be process driven and person driven. When they have genuinely added it on customer insistence, the service center has every right to charge the customer.

I always, as a rule, give strict instructions to the SA, not to bother with the windshield washer tank. Sure they add an additive and charge you for it, but invariably, I have noticed that they use borewell water. This tends to leave salt marks on the areas of the windscreen that gets sprayed, but not wiped. If not attended to promptly, these salt marks are really hard to get rid off. I always top up that tank myself, buy my own additive and use bottled drinking water.

PS: to be doubly sure, I always top up that tank, before taking it to the ASS centre, just in case. :D
