From past 10 months I am facing a very pathetic after sale service experience from Fiat / Tata and would like to understand the process for filing complaint against Fiat.
My Fiat 1.2 Emotion has a noise problem and service team is unable to provide me any sort of resolution. The car has been taken atleast 5-7 times to service station and returned with a promise that all the issues are fixed. But in actual nothing got fixed. Fiat has changed my car's exhaust, cooling fan and other related parts (which Fiat is unable to provide any information) but the actual problem still remains there. I have been asking about the details of spare changed but no reply from Tata / Fiat. Everytime Fiat has redirected me to contact TASS in this regard. Infact last time the service station people refused to provide me the job-slip for car received.
I am from Bangalore and service / car analysis is done by KHT motors. My car has completed 5000 Kms on road.

With reference to the pic please suggest me whether do I need to go for Insurance claim or bare the cost myself. Policy insured with Bajaj (100% claim) bumper to bumper. Thinking to visit you this weekend.
No internal damage. Also can you get me a rough estimation.
Parts required: RHS HL, Bumper and FIAT logo(No damage to upper bumper grill but missing in pic).

honestly i dont wanna b a party pooper.....my body shop manager will be the best judge and adviser for this i feel.....but out of personal experience i feel that any claim below Rs.7-10k dont bother for insurance....oops its already the weekend.......by now u would hv already come into teh body shop....
My Tjet's first free service at KHT
1. Engine oil and oil filter change (I know first service its not required but I wanted it)
2. Clutch pedal produces "click" sound when depressed. Lubrication required near spring
3. Bonnet wire/bonnet opening not working properly. Needs to be adjusted
4. Only under chassis washing and no body wash
5. All fluid level check and top ups
6. Air filter and pollen filter cleaning.
7. all needs to be done in front of me.
I contacted Adit for this and helped me getting service appointment booked quickly for Saturday 9:30AM; service advisor Mr. Ramesh
Reached service center on time and delivery agreed by 1PM. Everything went perfectly fine and engine oil was changed in front of me. I also took one extra liter of Selenia for future use (top up). The car was ready for delivery and after under chassis wash I paid bills and took the car. Mr. Bharat was assisting during the entire service and I m happy with the service, although bonnet wire which was adjusted is still not working fine when I bought the car at home
Engine oil Selenia 3.3 Lts = Rs 1800 appx
Engine oil 1 ltr top up can = Rs 575 appx
Oil filter = Rs 405 (I was told it initially only 250 but later in bill it was 400)
Consumable = Rs 250
Incl. service tax and VAT it came around Rs 3400
I must thank Adit, without him things wouldn't have been so easy.

I recently did my 45K service @KHT motors on 14-Jun and am satisfied with quality of service.
I am out of India and My wife took my car for servicing and she is happy with the overall work done,
except a small mishap, that another car hit my Linea :shocked when it was parked, and damaged the bumper, however
was assured that it will be rectified in my next visit.
Thanks to KHT team especially to Adit who instructed his team based on my email, as I was little tensed about whether
my wife will be able to explain the issues.
I have few queries though
SA advised to change the clutch Kit for the hard gear shifting and hard clutch issue.
I checked my extended warranty and found that clutch is covered under warranty (except worn out/burnt clutch),
As per SA this may not be covered under warranty however I am not clear about the reason.
Now as per my understanding clutch is a frictional part and there will always be some wear,
does it mean that 45K clutch replacement is normal ? How to confirm what is normal/abnormal wear ?
After 45k definitely there will be some wear out, in that case insurance company can always
prove that it is not covered. I am not denying the fact that in my case there may be excessive wear due to driving
conditions (a possibility), what I am interested is to know is on what parameters a warranty can be void ?
In my case it is not burnt now question is how much wear is acceptable for 45K mileage.
I came to know in this forum that clutch replacement due to hard clutch issue was covered under warranty for many TFians.
Is there any rule like hard clutch before X Km covered under warranty and not after that,if so is this available in writing somewhere ?
