Since writing a detailed review will take time, let me write here in short what happened. Kashyap Fiat accepted booking of a bossa nova white Linea 1.4 dynamic on March 31, even though they didn't have it in stock and neither did the plant. Which is why I guess they were insisting that we book a tuscan wine Linea instead saying the color was a lot better than white. Anyway, at the time of booking they were hoping to convince us or rather I should say trick us into buying a tuscan wine Linea at a later date. Long story short, they made us wait a month (my guess is they were hoping we would lose patience during this time and agree to buy tuscan wine) and then sales manager called on May 1 saying that the truck that was carrying our Linea had met with an accident and that the Linea that was meant for us was badly damaged. And apparently our only choice was to buy the tuscan wine Linea that they had. We of course didn't believe him and asked him to email us details about the accident along with the VIN number of the car that was meant for us (we had also asked for VIN number 2 weeks earlier but he never provided). So he agrees to send email but soon afterwards a different guy calls begging us not to ask them to send email, saying that they will loose their jobs. On further questioning he revealed that the colour we wanted was not available at the plant. We then decided to cancel our booking. Getting the booking amount back was also not an easy task.

Also, I should mention that we went to their Noida showroom on March 30 and saw a white Linea there that was apparently scheduled for delivery the next day. It had a HUGE scratch on the driver side door and the seats were dirty because the plastic covers were missing. They told us that plastic covers were missing because it was company policy to remove them before delivery. They also told us that they will simply paint the scratch and dry clean the seats. Anyway, my guess is that it was a display car (was probably on display at Fiat Caffe) and they were planning on selling it to an unsuspecting customer. The sales manager had provided us a list of cars that they had in stock and we could see only one white Linea and it had been alotted to a lady. The white Linea on the list was probably the scratched one we saw.

There is a LOT more to the story than the above but unfortunately it will take me a long time to write it all up. Just know that they lied to us repeatedly even before and also after we booked the car. We ignored all their lies, but the last one about the accident we, simply couldn't ignore.

Now, I do not know who Mr. O.P. Sharma is. Maybe he is an honest person. But by our experience, most of them were dishonest.

And as for Kashyap Fiat being the only option in Delhi, it is not. Now there is also Tuli Fiat. We went to their showroom on May 5 and the person we talked to seemed honest. However, he told us that he would call us the next day to confirm if bossa nova white Linea 1.4 Dynamic was available at the plant or not, but didn't. Received confirmation a week later that dynamic was not available. Active variant was available in BNW and there were four Dynamic MJDs but we weren't interested in diesel. If we want 1.4 dynamic, our only choice is the new pearl white. We don't like it because it is metallic colour and we are now having hard time deciding what to do.

All of us here are aware of horror stories with Skoda and VW service centers.Am always the 1st to criticize both of the said brands for their lousy after sales and services.Fiat can't rely only on one person when he is not around.

Very sad to know about Mr.Sharma and his team.

I had been to both the Noida & Oklhla FASS and did not feel the difference how it was before with TASS,its still the same.Last week my car was there at okhla FASS and was disappointed with quality of wash, finger prints on windscreen and dust inside the cabin and list goes on.

2009--2010--2011--2012--2013-- Power windows motors are still failing so frequently, where is the quality Fiat???Move on????

Lol......dont know how to react on your logic of you seeing Volvos getting painted there and we should send all cars there...

What if Volvo users also faced similar issues? we dont know about that .. right ?

And i do not buy "lucky/unlucky" concept... i paid money.. did not go there for betting..

Anyways.....Bottom line is.. .Nothing is changing even with Fiat Exclusive Service centers.....We need to strict and carefull and find nearby center only where you can watch the progress on your car daily!! Thats it...!!

When in Kashyap, Noida never ever consult Hemant or Vargeese. Check for Mr. Pancham instead, he is a nice guy and gets the job done in good time, atleast tries to. That is if Mr. O.P. Sharma is unavailable.

I got a small patch redone there in the bodyshop. Touch-up and re-paint on wheel arch on rear fender and bumper The job was of a day or day & a half max. but I left my car for 4 days as had to go out of station. Hemant did not call as he had promised to do once the car was ready. Called them on the third day and he said that its ready. On the fifth day when I reached there on confirming them that I would reach there by a particular time, my car was standing outside in the shed with dirt all over it and rubbing not done. I bashed up Hemant over the phone as he was on leave that day and Mr. O.P.Sharma was also on leave because of his brother's demise. Mr. Pancham then got my job done in good time as compared to FASS standards. The mechanic (Satinder) who did the work was fast, dedicated and did qualtiy work unlike others in the bodyshop. He also does bodywork outside of Kashyap. He resides at Badarpur. I've got his number incase needed, PM.

All FASS are lazy, laidback and don't have full knowledge of theirs cars. Had gone to Kashyap, Okhla before their opening and they had a few cars for routine servicing and at such slow pace these lazy bitches work is a sheer test of your patience. And I'll not even talk about FASS, Lucknow which I visited when in Lko for some work, when my car was at Kashyap; workers and advisors there DAYDREAM.

I 100% agree with you regarding Kashyap Okhla. They are s-l-o-w and have only 1 service advisor [Mr. Negi] it seems who has to goto Mr.Jha for every little thing.

Discovered the problem with Kashyap, Okhla as I was there yesterday for my car's service and got it done through a SA who belongs to Kashyap, Noida.
Except Negi, they don't have anybody on permanent basis. SAs from Kashyap, Noida take turns and come to Okhla for two-three days and then go back. Because of that the workers and mechanics don't really follow the advisors' instructions. Infact the workers are having a great time here as 60% of them have come from Pahwa Motors(Tata) and have much less work-load.

@Amar, you can not judge by seeing volvos in the workshop, thats true. But what about the feedback already in market. Can you ignore that as well.
It's individual's wish to take vehicle there or not. My experience has been excellent so far and I am not the only one for sure.

Fiat was carrying same image when you bought your vehicle. You must have considered all this as you were not betting your hard earned money my friend. ;)

lol... don't know on what kind of feedback you run. I went there after hearing such kinda feedbacks but i think you did not see what happened to my car and others cars also. Read this thread again. So... wrong feedback is not a genuine feedback according to you? lol....

and i am not saying that they are too bad and we should not take our cars there.. did i say that?

Well!!! Did i ever say i am not happy with Punto ? DID I ? ;-)

The only point i made is...please read again and try to understand....before commenting....and the only point is.... nothing is going to change with dedicated fiat centers....so.. don't expect much... That's what i wrote in my previous comment.

    @Amar-

I've already gone through your post and that's why I told about serious medical problems with the staff but you took it as adjustment.

You need to research on feedback to find how Kashyap is. I can't help on this.

It's individual wish to take car there or not. I suggested many people to get in touch with Mr. Sharma (Elegant, Him and now Kashyap). They are happy with the service since long time.

You never said you are not happy with your Punto but you talked about batting. And I tried to make you clear on your decision, was it batting, really.

Adjustments are always required. It's up to you how to consider whole scenario and how to move further. I am happy with their services. Rest depends on you. Kashyap is not the last option in NCR.

btw, tum haste bahut ho... lol... keep smiling ;)
