    Yesterday i drop a mail to the top level FIAT and as a response got a call today morning from Mangesh Kodalkar, Maharastra Pune. I conveyed the difficulty through which we all FIAT owner's and lovers are going through. He deeply understood the same. He promised to have a visit to the workshop and a discussion with all Team FIAT members here.

    He also confirmed that another delear + workshop will be opening shortly here. FIAT has given some punishment already to GARODIA. He told me that i will hget a call on Monday morning regarding the issue pending from my last servicing (months back). I wish FIAT to come up with a new delear and ws ASAP in kolkata to keep this historical brand's reputation. I also conveyed the plan of FIAT rally which i proposed to GARODIA before it was opened in Kolkata and followed up many times with no answer. He said that he will take a look at the same and will update me.

    Lets see what is there in future for our beloved brand.

    OFFTOPIC:Will go to the showroom on 9th two book 2 more PUNTO(ofcourse not for me)---1 EMOTION & 1 DYNAMIC.

    Sorry it was Mahesh with whom i have spoken today morning (mistakenly said as Mangesh).

    But, sometimes back got a call from Mangesh Kodalkar. Discussed again on the scenario here. He confirmed about Umashankar Panda, leading Eastern Zone after sales service (if i am not wrong). He also listened the scenario with great patience and i have given him Rajarshi's contact info (as i have no other contact of you guys).

    What i suggested and he also agreed upon is that anyone from Team FIAT at least email him directly with the experience and feedback on GARODIA. If not possible can definitely drop a mail to service.india@fiat.com. Whenever they reply they will copy Mr. Umesh on every mail. Lets see what outcome is there.

    But i have suggested him to take a general survey with all the FIAT owners to get a clear picture. I would like to get in touch with you all and thus need your contact number. Probably we can share through FB. I am easily found with "arupcbz" in FB. Just message me your phone number if you wish. I will SMS you mine as well.

    OMG. Received another call from Mr. Ashish Garodia. Same conversation again. He requested me to visit the workshop without informing him / CEO and promised to have a better service in terms of Supervisor's efficiency, customer handling etc.

    Guys ... plz visit the workshop (obviously i will do) ... and share your experience ...

    You have done a great job Atrup! Very Happy to see such response from FIAT. FIAT should appoint another dealer in kolkata, otherwise there will be no competition between the dealers and no choice to the customers. If i have place and money then i would definitely open a FIAT dealership in kol :-D.

    FIAT gaining popularity slowly but steadily ... its not the picture in 10 - 12 yrs ago ... when there were only 2-3 cars were coming weekly for servicing/repairing!!

    GARODIA should come into a class where we can compare with other service station (TATA, Maruti, Hyundai); Currently they don't have minimum standards for operation.

    Anyway, be a FIAT fan i would like go for FIAT again .. because no other car are such a value for money :D

    I called 4 numbers of Garodia Fiat today and all were switched off..have they shut down?? I also called Mr. Umashankar and he said he has resigned from Fiat but said that Garodia is still in. Do any of you have any contact numbers of Garodia Fiat? And any idea when the new dealership is opening?

    Garodia is very much open. I will be at service centre tomorrow for 4th service + some other problems.

    Did my 4th service on 6th FEB.They have improved a lot if compared to the previous experience.Manpower has been increased,way of functioning has been vastly streamlined ,time taken for minor problems has come down drastically.A defective hornpad of a LINEA was repaired within 30 mins(including jobcard opening +closing).Availability of spares is no issue(I got the rubber cover of the clutch pedal,radio antenna & fog light bezel for two other cars from our area).Workmanship has improved also.A paging system has been installed through which a service advisor now can directly address a mechanic in the shop floor.Intercom has also been installed.
    All in all servicing at GARODIA this time has come as a pleasant surprise.
