    I gave my first service at 5600 km yesterday at CAI,Coimbatore and received the car by today.Following were my observations while taking the car.

    1)The engine bay ,exterior & interior were given in good condition ! Engine oil top up was done.
    2)I had asked them to touch up a small area where the paint had peeled off but it was forgotten.The job was done later on after I pointed out.The postwork is kind of OK only.
    3)Pen drive was missing (I should have taken that) and they told me that it was not present while giving the car.I very well know that it was present there.Well, I don't know what I can assume here.
    4)I came back straight to office and while returning I checked the tyre pressures were abnormal and checked at a bike mechanice shop and it was in 30s and 20s:(.The tyres were filled to the recommended level in the shop.Isn't the tyre pressure comes under check ? I should have checked the tyre pressure there itself.
    5)The final cost was zero rupee.

    Overall ,I am NOT satisfed expecially the pen drive thing which is bugging me.Yes, it is not about the pen drive but that...

    Hoping for perfect satisfaction in the upcoming services.

    We can never expect a service centre to be perfect in India in this regard. We have to make sure that we remove all our belongings from the car. And I have never come across a service centre who delievered me the car with recommended tyre pressure.

    I have lost close to Rs. 100 in coins in my car when it went for the free checkup camp at Ramkay, Chennai. The fault is mine. I shouldn't have trusted anyone.

    My mother always says this to me. Never ever!

    Now, I realize how much all these days FIAT customers would have suffered but despite all these things ,they remain to be true ,loyal die hard fans.I have no words::T.These people deserve much more respect than what they actually receive.

    I will try to be cautious from now on atleast.Thank God ,the service is only once in a year :wink:.

    The 5000km service is just an inspection.

    I recommend that it is always better to simply take the car, get all the issues noted, fill the service coupon and take the car out asap. No service center would religiously check all the points mentioned in the service coupon.

    Fiat Exclusive: CAI Fiat, Coimbatore, 75000 Kms Service, Driving Fiat Ahead

    My Linea MJD was due for 75000 Km service and I booked for service with Mr. Jagadeesh who has known my linea's history for a very long time now. Was well received when I went to drop off the car for service and the test driver / inspection person Mr. Ranjith put the car on the ramp and carried out a thorough inspection. There was a slight coolant leak which had caked up in the hose clip area, which was noted and also the clutch slave cylinder which was plastic was recommended to be replaced with the steel one owing to sudden failure. Within 10 minutes the handover was over and next day evening at 5 PM Mr. Jagadeesh informed the car was ready to be picked up. Checked up the car and every single detail which I did not mention was well attended - left door window beeding was pushed inside which was corrected, engine bay was spanking new - a wonderful job, clutch slave cylinder changed to metal one and perfectly bleeded and felt smooth. Interior cleaning was good, minor cabin noises also seem to have disappeared. Overall another wonderful service experience, thanks to Mr. Jagadeesh and team. Well done CAI Fiat.

    Fiat India should take note of such good experiences rendered through service centers like CAI in Coimbatore and improve service standards in other parts of the country to improve market share.

    And I must share that CAI service centre has revamped interiors and is class comparable with the likes of VW, Skoda or Honda. Swanky interiors and waiting area is pleasant. Congratulations CAI on new interiors.

    My fiat linea was left for service on 23-08-2014 in CAI Fiat coimbatore. My connecting rod bearing was worn out. I have been waiting for past 18 days. Till now my vehicle was not repaired.

    Please post in relevant thread, instead of creating new thread everytime. Please spend small time to search before creating new thread.

    I have been using Fiat Linea diesel for the past 15 months. I have completed 38000 kms. On 22-08-2014 evening i heard a small noise in engine room and very next day i left in CAI Fiat service, coimbatore for inspection.

    For nearly one week there was no proper reply from them even after several phone calls from my side. They simply replied that bearing has to be changed and even if bearing is changed the same problem will be repeated in future. It is product mistake so they have been requesting approval from fiat to change engine block. But fiat is not giving approval and they were analysing the problem. After waiting for 10 days on 01-09-2014 I called service manager reg this. He simply said he was not aware of this. After lot of discussions he replied that the problem will be sorted out in two days.

    On wednesday(03-09-2014) i went personally and met him. After that only i got a reply that connecting rod bearing was worn out and approval to change has been received from fiat and it will reach in three days.

    To get approval for bearing which was worn out in 38000 kms i had to wait for 12 days. Till yesterday bearing has not reached. Service manager was giving irresponsible answer. He don't know when bearing will reach. so far 18 days over. Even now i don't know when i will get my vehicle back. I use to drive 100 kms daily. Daily i have to spend 2000 for taxi. If this is the situation what is the meaning of warranty. I have lost my trust on fiat.

    My friends are forcing to file a complaint in consumer court.

    I need suggestions in this.
