Recently i got 60k service done for my punto at Butta motors. I feel that the mechanics and service center guys are very helpful and doing their job perfectly.
Setting up service station at that place itself is disastrous decision.
I reached service center at 8.00 o clk and i parked my car in parking area ( Only 3 cars can be parked there ).
By 9 o clk literally cars are flooding. White linea , TW Linea, OB Linea and two other punto's. And thats all....there is no way to get into service center. Absurd thing is there is only one way to get in and get out of SC. And Police are observing constantly if they can write challan as the SC is few feets away from busy T Junction.
This is most embarassing situation for any car owner waiting outside SC and thinks...Mera number kab aayega :(
I can say the place is pathetic, they have to shift their base. Washing availability is impossible if they continue in current premises.
    P.S - Patience matters.

I had my car serviced there last month. There was almost no parking place and Traffic SI was writing Challans for the cars parked on road. The place was very chaotic. i dont know where they are going to park all the vehicles which come for servicing. As far as servicing experience is concerned, it was very very bad. None of the problems i told them were rectified. The car was not even washed. When i asked them they said washing service is not yet opened. Atleast they could just wipe the windshield before handing over the car. I immediately got the car washed outside. I had the feeling that only for oil & filters change i had paid 2K labour charges.

Gave the same feedback when i got the call few days later. The lady told me that she would pass on the message to their manager and he would call me. But there ended the story.

Labour charges should be around Rs 1100 /- for Normal paid service. If it is 60k kms service or 2 years then labor charge is Rs 2k.

Visited service center on 15/6/13 for pending work on the indicator switch assembly. Previously the parts were not available but this time I am lucky. Also wanted to check one of the rear lights was not working.

Did not take any appointment t try my luck, reached by 9 15. Surprisingly they took the car and job was scheduled to start at 10.30. They did the entire job on the bay, did not take the car inside. Overall good stuff, covered by warranty, so did not pay. They have become little more organized from last time in May.

One more service center beside Tata one on 100 ft road is coming up in 3-4 months. Parts are now available in 3 days if they are not in stock. As usual when I was heading back around 12. The road was completely taken over by parked Fiats and Police started 'PoliceGiri' with utter dedication again. They have a point though as it is near to an intersection.

re: FIAT Exclusive Service Center: Butta (Tejaswi) Motors, Hyderabad

The new SC you mentioned is tejaswi again? If yes, 3-4 months doesn't sound very realistic for the same dealer to invest again.

Its with Butta, the same with Rd 45. I don't know what they were thinking while opening in rd #45. but Daily chaos and police interference along with frustrated customers might have forced them to find alternative place. Whole AP have 5L fiats and this one can handle ~10 cars at a time.

I dropped my Linea yesterday for squeaks and rattles at Butta (FASS) in Hyderabad. Had taken appointment a week in advance. Extended warranty expiring in few days. Arrived few minutes before time. 2 cars was getting attended on the road itself presumably some minor repairs or inspection. After waiting @ the curb for 10-15 minutes saw a traffic cop discharging his duty by taking pictures of cars parked on road waiting to enter the service center. So I had to drive around and come back in 10 minutes. Another Linea owner was doing the same. Finally drove into the service center and had to leave the car on entry ramp with full hand brake and reverse gear... else car would go down the slope. Entire ramp was full of cars. Job card was made on the ramp!!

Spoke with one of the coordinators. I was told that the body shop will shift back to Tejaswai (TASS) in 2-3 days. Then the parking problem will go away.

On the positive side, the staff was courteous and patiently listened and prepared the job card. At least knew what they were doing. The place is not dusty and dirty unlike the previous one. Other cars were all FIAT !! You don't have to be around Indica cabbies.

While taking delivery of car yesterday (on time!!), all complaints written on the job card were addressed. WoW :dance Things pending since 2-3 years were fixed, which TASS could never fix. Vehicle was not washed / vacuumed for which service manager accepted that it's because of the work load. Labor charges as usual were too high, which I was told are FIAT prescribed.

    So some more news.

Had a conversation with the service manager. Butta has submitted paperwork to FIAT to open another service center in Hyderabad. FIAT has agreed verbally, but not given a written MoU. The service manager claimed that one the MoU has been established, a new workshop will be operational in 45 days.

MODS: It's not longer Tejaswi, It's Butta. Rename the thread or open new one?

Well, I guess in a few days The FIAT ASS in Hyderabad is going to be world famous.

Looks like added to their Wonderful Service Center, the Service manager lost his cool (great going) and the best part is the customer managed to record everything in his camera which he has not posted anywhere yet.

    A friend's plight with Fiat Exclusive - Tejaswi Motors, Hyderabad - Team-BHP

I can't understand how FIAT thinks it can manage all the cars in Hyderabad with one pathetic SC which does not even have proper parking. Another member got dents as Souvenir's for getting his vehicle serviced.

And previously i used to drive in to the (TATA) SC any day and get things fixed. I just had to book an appointment for my 60 K service and happened to get a slot for next month.:eek::eek:
