Re: Tejaswi Motors Hyderabad Service - A BIG ISSUE

Kalis, you mentioned so many problems with Tejaswi Motors, but you din not even mention a single time What was the problem with your car. For a car to be in a workshop for two months, there has to be some really big problems.

And our you kidding that the loaner vehicle doesnt have brakes, how the freakin god you are driving it if it din have breaks.

Seems something is missing or fishy here. !!

@kalis : If your car is really there for two months... I wonder what made you leave it for 2 odd months to those guys... I will suggest you to take it back immediately... I know almost all @ Malik cars, shaikpet.... Will make you talk to them... they are real good professionals and work hard to resolve the issues... The issues that you mentioned can be resolved in one good day. yes just one good day... Just give me a call on 9701513920, i will help you out, even i have plans going there for an hour for s small work ... I have had few real funny instances with Tejaswi guys where they asked to replace the shock absorbers and suspension for a small rattling noise... Trust me for service Tejaswi is quite funny to me, may be because they are new in Hyderabad and we should respect the fact that they are doing really good in marketing FIAT cars.. Service we can take from others in Hyderabad.......

Re: Tejaswi Motors Hyderabad Service - A BIG ISSUE

I am one of the other victims of Tejaswi Motors. From day 1 I have been facing lot of troubles. I owned an Alto for over 2 yrs and there was only once that I had an issue with the car and it was handled and resolved very well. Now I don't want to discuss that over here, but I am not sure if I made a mistake in choosing the vehicle, the dealer or both.

    The list goes on ......

Day 1 .... The day I took the delivery of my Punto. Waited for 3 long hours before I had the delivery. The people asked me to come in the evening so that they can finish all the paper works and even the installation of the music system which I have selected earlier. But I had to just wait around ... real frustrating. I have the Sony Mp3 player with USB and Bluetooth installed. The guy from the accessories was supposed to give me a demo on the BT feature. Since I know the other features as most of them were same as the one I had in my Alto except for the BT, I have asked him to show me a demo for BT alone. This guy struggled for almost an hour but couldnot get the BT connected to my mobile. My wife was getting impatient and then I told him I will have a look at the manual and do it myself and then we left for the temple had the pooja done. Just as I reached home our neigbours were thrilled to see my new ride. I wanted to show off my beauty and offered a ride. Everybody eagerly jumped in and to my embarrassment the front left door wouldn't close. Tried it for some 30 times before it closed. I was literally banging the door. I guess the guy who fixed the speaker in the door have messed with the door locking system. By the way that moron forgot to install the antenna and claimed that they did. I don't want to add anything about this since I got a call yesterday after almost 2 months that they will prepare a cheque for the refund.

Day 2 .... Went to an accessories shop and got a new set of alloys and tyres installed. I have told them the problem with the door not closing and they have fixed the cable inside the door and it is working fine there after. I have also enquired for the central lock but that was not possible as they said it needs a special system and as I already new that Fiat has it as an accessory decided to get it done at the show room only. I have enquired at the Tejaswi motors and they told me that they are out of stock and will surely call me in couple of days after getting the stock. Its been almost 2 months since I got my car and have not recieved a single call from them.

Day 3 .... Was monday and my first day to the office in my Grande Ride. While I was driving and mostly at the turns I heard the buzz going off. It was almost at a regular interval. I was not sure what went wrong. Then I later realised that the sign was showing that the door is open. All the doors were locked from inside and I didnot understand what went wrong. I drove straight to Tejaswi Motors and told them the problem, they resolved the problem, but took lot of time before fixing it. I was 2hrs late to my office and the time they took to fix the problem was only 10 mins.

Few days went by very peacefully.....

I think in the 1st week of Jan the car wouldn't start at the first time. I had to try several times before the car would start. One fine day which was almost the 2nd week after I bought the car, it wouldn't start and I tried for 30mins before calling the RSA. The guy spoke to me as if he was still asleep. Asked me to check on several things and atlast asked me to push a kind of extrusion beneath the driver seat and then the car started. Went to the office had to work late and while was returning, the car wouldn't start at all this time. This time I tried for over an hour before the RSA guy came. He opened the fuel supply line tried somethings with the electronic box in the bonnet and then it started, but showed the maintenance symbol on the instrument panel. He asked me to bring the vehicle the next day for diagnosis. I reached home and just out of curiosity stopped the engine and tried starting again. It started and since then never had a problem. I called the RSA guy and told him that the car is starting well and when can I bring it for diagnosis, he asked me to get it done in my 1st service.

ansal11 - The problem is about the brake and i have mentioned clearly.. may be you have over look.. here you go..

    Brake failure issue

This issue occurs only in low RPM like when you are bring your car from parking where you need to apply 1st and reverse gear couple of times.

or when you are driving in slowly moving traffic where you can't release clutch fully (even in 1st gear) and you need to keep your feet on brake padel to avoid bang into next car. If you face this situation for around 25-30 seconds you will find brake padel very hard anbd brake is failed. You need to press clutch fully in order to get vacuum recreated in brake booster. If you are running on AC , then vaccum takes 5-6 seconds otherwise it takes 2-3 seconds.

Also, I have taken the loner car but not using that but still using my old car..

Hopefully, some one will help us all from this..

    First Service Report

Got the first servicing done this monday. The guys there were prompt to attend us, but I wanted to speak to the Incharge first regarding the diagnosis of the engine. He said that it will be done and only thing that they will be doing is erase all the errors recorded. I am not sure if this is what is supposed to be done (Any one please clarify)

The problems I reported to the service advisor are

    1. Lot of engine noise
    2. Faint rattle sound coming from the rear side of the cabin
    3. Driver Seat was not straight to the steering wheel but a bit angled to the right
    4. Door handles from inside were very loose and seemed as if they would come in hand if applied force
    5. The vehicle was pulling to the left side when steering was left loose
    6. The clutch was a bit hard

    The problems resolved
    1. Only the engine noise is a bit reduced
    2. Door handles seem to be fine now

    Unresolved issues
    1. Car pulling to the left - This has not been solved even after the wheel alignment has been done. They say that since I have got alloy wheels and changed the stock tyres, this issue will be persistant (Don't know if that true)
    2. Faint rattle sound (Still exists) - They claim that it is because of the Ganesh idol I have on the dash board. But thats not true cause I can notice that the sound is coming from the rear end
    3. Driver seat not straight - They told me that they will be sending their technician
    4. Clutch hardness - They resolved this but they also loosened the brakes which makes me feel bit uncomfortable while driving in traffic. Usually I am rash driver and need to apply brakes very often and need the brakes to be applied effectively. Before servicing the brakes were one of the features I liked the most in my car. But now I am a bit skeptical.

and I even got a bonus from them. The door unlocked symbol problem came back after the service. The guy told me that after washing these kind of problems come and they will vanish in no time. Its been 3 days and I still have the same problem. I complained the same and they said they will be sending their technician to my place to see the problems.

They first told me that I would have to pay 530Rs for wheel alignment which I told that was not mentioned earlier. Their reply was that any show room will charge you for that. They promised me to deliver the car by 5.30 pm on the same day by droping it near my office but I had to go myself at 8.30pm to pick it up. Then they said I was only charged 250 for wheel alignment. After making the payment, the incharge comes and tells me that fiat doesn't charge for wheel alignment and I will be refunded the money but I will have to go back again. After all this they pleaded me to give good ratings if I get a call from Fiat. I told them that I would do so. But .....

Today I recieved a call from banglore to rate the service experience. I have given them a very low rating. I recieved a call in the evening from Tejaswi asking what was the reason for the low ratings and I explained them and told them that I would never want to give my vehicle back to Tejaswi again.

Tomorrow the technician is supposed to inspect the vehicle. Lets see what happens. But please don't go to Tejaswi .... from what I heard Concorde is the best in Hyderabad. Hope my experience will alert many of you and avoid you all the agony I went through.

I have a nightmare exp. from Concorde.... the Service Advisor Phanindra doesn't even know what is happening to your car at the workshop...

If it is feasible for you people to reach out to Malik at Shaikpet, they are really good guys and know a lot about FIAT cars.. Punto and Linea...

To name few... Srinivas and Vamsi are nice guys with good knowledge, they are Service Managers for few departments, they can resolve rattling issues in minutes, they know about Punto's and Linea's, then Mr. Shyam takes care of billing and all paper work to perfection... then Mr. Hitesh is a nice guy and will always listens to your problems coolly and resolve them all on his own. I remember during my second service, the car was not washed properly inside the bonnet, they showed me the letter from FIAT mentioning not to wash the engine assembly with water and then he cleaned all with Colin on his own to my satisfaction.. wow, i must admit a really hard working guy... Coming to electrical work (which is most important in FIAT cars), they have Irshad and one more guy i am missing his name, these guys even knows about the chips inside our cars...

I must admit that they might not have a very big set up like Concorde... but they have sufficient... There Body shop is the best in Hyderabad with respect to FIAT colors... Concorde and Tejaswi sucks.. you could see the waviness in metallic colors...

But when it comes to accessories for FIAT... i also reach out to Tejaswi...

We are planning a TFI Hyderabad meet on 20th Feb near Hussain Sagar... it will be great if you can come and share your horror stories... Both of us drive the same engine car (1.2 FIRE)...I have not faced the issue yet, you can actually drive mine to check if you face the same braking issue... this will help you to understand if its a flaw in your vehicle or you just need to adjust ur driving style a bit.. What say?

Re: Tejaswi Motors Hyderabad Service - A BIG ISSUE

The technician from Tejawsi paid a visit today. I explained him the problems and he agreed that they have not been resolved. He asked me if he could take the car to the showroom. I said if he can promise me to return the car in the evening then its fine with me. He was a bit hesitant, so I told him that I have a paint and dent job tomorrow for my car, so cannot give the car to him today and asked him to pick it up from my office on monday morning. BTW he was telling me that people from Tejawsi are not well trained and he was trained at Pune's factory. Will keep you updated about the re-re-repair :uh
