Really bad the situation is.Let us see how FIAT is handling this issue. If this issue is not taken upon by FIAT very seriously then the time for packing their bags from this country
    is near by.

We won't even know if any action is taken or not, the SM might behave well but u never know what caused it or he might be the same, I don't think fiat might do anything here except asking for a report as the dealer is who has invested in Fiat and Fiat needs such investors. It would have been different if Fiat was a desirable brand in India amongst the aam Junta, Coming to Service part, I don't think there's anything called Customer service in India. I see similar behaviour even with a General Motors, I even have to follow up on getting extended warranty or getting some photos taken to get a warranty claim for my disintegrating glass on the fog lamps. Same stories with Hyundai ,for that matter even Maruti. I think most of the Junta lack the quality of empathy and it reflects in poor customer service, Just my 2 cents

I haven't shared my experience with this pathetic service center yet. Please read it as below and you will simply laugh at their attitude.

I went to bangalore on 5th May 2013. One of my brake light was fused and I was enquiring about that bulb 3rd May physically presented there and very next day I went there to fixed the bulb. Chandanagar to Jubilee hills are not very short distance.

They Informed me as I don't have any appointment they don't want to look my issue, and It takes 15 days to get the appointment. I informed them I have one fuse bulb and it is available in stock. It would take 5 min to replace. They told they can't do this without appointment. I informed them I am going to Bangalore very next day and it is essential to have. Then they told me to wait, I waited there for 1 hr no response.

I simply returned to home and replaced the bulb at free of cost in KHT Bangalore.

This is not FIAT attitude, KHT guys are very reponsive. Here it is attitude & lack of proficiency of Tejaswi Guys.

I wish I will ask 2 weeks work transfer to bangalore and then service my car once 5th service will be required.

Yes, i do know that FIAT is not the desirable brand among aam junta. But some action againt these kind of people who work in such service centres will make the existing customers confident over the brand and no further incidences like this will happen in the future, which is good for the brand itself in the long term.So atleast FIAT should make these guys to apologize to the respective customer. Also, i know that customer service is not that great with other Companies as well(Hyundai,GM,Honda,Maruti), but they do take some actions in such a kind of situations.

Whether these companies take an action or not, atleast customer has a choice to choose the service centre. But same is not the case with our FIAT in most of the cities. So FIAT should be very careful in selecting the Service centres & training the SC staff. Having a centralised customers feedback collection & prompt actions would improve the confidence of customers.

Ok now speaking from the point of a business which has invested about a crore for setting up the showroom and spends that kind of money to run it every month in return of selling how many lets say 40 cars PM with an average margin of 50k per month per car (being optimistic) which translates to a couple of million Rs for the business. That translates to a Minus in the books. What incentive is Fiat giving to the owner of the showroom / service station for running the show at a loss, I don't think Fiat can command here as the dealer is doing it a favour. However since we give them business the service guys should be cordial and empathetic to our cause. It's a circle if you ask me

Majboori hain...Fiat has no choice as they are not selling 500+ per month including linea + Punto. Dealerships are likely might not expand.I suppose in Bangalore & chennai the situation is better.
And moreover FIAT is not concentrating on Small car market. Atleast they would have continued Palio stile along with Punto and Linea.
As sales are not upto mark and present dealers are taking advantage. I think i would sell my punto by next year if this story continues.
Off the topic - My Friends Ford Figo petrol was stranded in front of my office due to fuel mixture. Petrol bunk guy has filled diesel instead of petrol. We tried to reach ford dealer in secunderabad and the response was fabulous and with in 2 hours towing vehicle reached ( Note : Location of my office is 30 Kms away from Secunderabad ). This is what we expect from dealers after spending some lakhs of rupees on any car.

    True.

Even Fiat acted quickly when I left my home key and the car key in my Linea Boot and closed the door. Fiat RSA responded well and the mechanic was at my home within 2 hours.

We can't just generalize things because of mistakes of few or a dealer.

Completely agree with you. But if they dont start keeping the end in mind, they would end up in competeing with sales of ambassador. These showrooms earn little from sales when compared to Servicing and tejaswi is full with bookings till next month. So there is scope for a new service centre.
