I am scared to even call them for a scheduled service.
  2. FIAT Exclusive Service Center: Butta (Tejaswi) Motors, Hyderabad

But who's this guy, is he the CSA or the Service manager?

I think he is the Service Manager and not CRM. Srilatha is the CRM as far as I know.

If FIAT authority do not co-operate with us on these matters, we will know well what are the future of our cars.

Hopeless attitude continues..i think Palio episode is about to repeat again.
When i gave my car for 5th service, there was no Airfilter, Pollen filter in stock ( Height of negligence ) . Then i was told that you can send any person to collect the filters next day.
Presuming that sending any one could be more head ache, i went there after 3 days to collect the filters. Oh god they have took 3 hours to get bill those 2 items even though i was shouting and i was after them .
Its high time for FIAT to setup atleast one dealer ( non Tejaswi group ).

Vignesh, thanks for sharing the link. Really pathetic to see the behavior of Service Manager.

Below is the my review of the service center. I took my car for 4th service recently and it took 4 visits for me to get all my problems fixed. The problem in particular is with the headlight. This is a mixture of both good and bad. Ultimately, it ended in a happy note. Anyway, hold tight, this is going to be lengthy one.. :D

It all started with my call to the service center to book a slot for my fourth service. They told me that I have to wait for a month as the slots are full. I got frustrated and yelled at them for asking me (a customer) to wait for an entire month to get their car serviced? It's completely pathetic.. thats when they re-checked their registers and told me that they have an open slot on June 17 and if interested I can block it. I immediately said YES.

    Day - 1

I received an SMS stating that Mr.Raju (A nice guy but good for nothing fellow) is my SA and I should meet with him as soon as I reach the SC. I reached the service center on time and boy, it's smaller than a Bajaj bike service center. I was shocked to see that a car service center could be that small.

Anyway after waiting for nearly 20 - 30 min, Mr. Raju came (after attending to other vehicles in order). I told him that apart from going for 45K service, I wanted them to fix two specific problems that has been a real pain in the ass.

    1) Rear bumper adjustment.

When the back seat is fully loaded the rear fender is touching the tires. All this needs is proper adjustment.

    2) Front right headlight

Early this year, my friend was driving this car and near tarnaka area, it met with an accident wherein the front right headlight assembly was damaged. I claimed the insurance for the damage to the body and also the headlight. Everything came out just fine at that time but the assembly they installed was a faulty one. The very next day I noticed that the light throw was not proper. I reached Tejaswi the next day and told them the problem. They admitted that the part was faulty and since they don't have the part in stock they will replace it as and when the new part comes in.:hit

The new part never came and then came the news about the TATA-FIAT split. Fast forward today, I explained them the scenario and told them to replace that part as well. He said that he will talk to the other folks and will do the needful. Ghouse(The star mechanic at Tejaswi) came and me, Raju and Ghouse chatted for awhile and it was decided that Ghouse would be servicing my vehicle and I will be receiving my vehicle the next day only. I agreed and left for the day. :dance

    Day - 2

The next day morning Mr.Raju called me up and told me that the vehicle is ready. I asked him if they took care of the two problems I reported. To which, he said YES.

I went there in the evening and was surprised to see that my car is not there. I waited for a while and when Mr.Raju showed up, I asked him the same. He said that they park the car in a different location due to space constraints but the driver has already been notified to get the vehicle and that my car will be delivered in the next 15-20 min or so. I was given the bill but I didn't care to look at it as I wanted to confirm that my problems have been rectified.

Even after waiting for an hour, I didn't get the vehicle. I got furious and went to see where the driver was and to my surprise, that guy was standing outside chit chatting with the security personnel. I found Mr.Raju and yelled at him for mis-management. Apparently this guy passed the info to some other guy and it got lost in middle. The driver was also not at fault as he was never informed about this. Mr.Raju then confessed that due to space constraints, they had to shift few vehicles to Madhapur. If I wanted to, he said that he will take me there and I can then take the delivery of the vehicle from Madhapur itself. There is no way I could have accepted that proposal. Without verifying the fixes, I was not going to pay a paisa. :punch

I gave him a piece of my mind and surprisingly he stormed into the manager's room and had a huge argument with the manager. He came out after a while and apologized for the mix up. I requested him to drop me be back at the office. He obliged and asked his manager's driver to drop me back at my office in the manager's car.
    Day 2 ended with frustration.

    Day - 3

    Will continue the story shortly....

Even if there is a provision, the case will be dragged throughout our life in the Indian Legal System.
