    Hey Sam, thats a really bad experience brother. Please avoid Sameer at Balaji Autoworld. He is a guy with tonnes of ego and zero knowledge. I would suggest you to take your car to Torrid Motors in Andheri. Its a new FASS. Also you can escalate this with FIAT by writing a mail to Mr. Mangesh Kodalkar and Mr. Valsan and am sure you will definitely get the required satisfaction.

    Sad to know about your bitter experiences. Suggest you to recount the same in a mail to Mangesh Kodalkar & on the Fiat India FB page.

    Keep us posted on the Fiat's response to your complaint.

    I got a cal from Sandeep (customer care Balaji) at around 10 pm yesterday after I sent out an email to Fiat.He has requested me to get the car back to Balaji and promised to get all issues fixed.
    With my earlier experience,I am a bit worried to go back to the same place again but then I am not sure if I have many choices.

    Balaji Car world - Thane - Discounts are trap

    I decided Fiat Punto as my first car and I was really happy on my decision until a blunder came out from my dealer Balaji Fiat car world, Thane. 5 days before delivery they denied to deliver car saying car is not available in stock any more and if I want now I will have to pay Rs 40,000 more on agreed price. and if I want to cancel I will have to pay cancellation fees Rs. 5000. They had taken almost 40% amount in advance 3 weeks ago, but didn't blocked the car for me. and blaming on FIAT India for whatever happened. According to them they had taken advance for 2013 stock cars which is not available anymore with Fiat plants ? When I spoke to Balaji Autoworld CEO Deepak he bluntly said its the company policy on Order cancellation. according to him they are not charging extra because their price are as per delivery date. what does it mean ? What about commitments, discounts,offers & my loses ? Looks like balaji has started new business of booking one car among group of people and then earn interest on amount and also deduct cancellation fees. and there are reviews on Internet that proves this is not the first time Balaji has done this. No FIAT ever for me :(

    looks like all efforts are in vain. I had written to Mangesh kodalkar as well. but neither Fiat nor dealer bothers to respond me. forget about 5000 deduction I am not getting my 215,000 back. looks like they want to use my money forever. what a sales experience from FIAT. I am speechless and really feeling cheated. Don't know where to move from here.

    I got a call few minutes ago from Balaji Fiat, Thane about a customer meet (new, existing and would be)happening tomorrow i.e 23rd feb at 5 pm where Balaji would be showcasing the Fiat models with a little bit history. I will be going there hoping to see the new Linea and if possible Avventura too. The SA whom I interacted didnt though confirm it but promised me to be the first one to know whenever the models showcased in Auto expo arrive at the showroom to have a sneak peek. Anybody else got a call? If so we can have mini meet.

    The customer meet at Balaji Fiat, Thane received a very lukewarm response with a max of 10 fiat owners attending the event. The event well wasnt professional enough, the videos werent shown professionally, ppts were so so with nothing new and the games were average. A couple pf questions asked by the attendees
    1) Why is there a difference between the tyre sizes of stepney and the normal ones for Punto emotion variant?
    2) Is the stepney wheel balanced from the factory itself?
    3) What are the benefits of extended warranty?

    Mr Sunil Valson attended the meet and suprisingly he stuttered for answers or vaguely answered them. The event was nothing great to write about. The only solace was my son won a drawing & dance competition. He was the happiest amongst us.

    Good atleast someone had a fun filled day..:D

    Some of these guestions were indeed tricky, though not too difficult for a Fiat professional or should'nt be atleast.
