    Just back from this SC.

Advisor was very friendly and helpful unlike the previous once from Concord SC. To add to that they have agreed to pick and drop my car from Sagar road, around 50kms away from SC, that will save me one day.

I got an email today from FIAT stating that Ankitha Motors has been terminated as authorized FIAT service centre and dealership. This is probably the worst decision they could have made. Of the three service centres in Hyderabad, Ankitha Motors are the best in terms of service quality as well as customer service. This decision is going to only make it so much more difficult for FIAT customers to get quality service in Hyderabad. Bad decision. FIAT should at least consider reinstating Ankitha Motors as a stand alone service centre.

Indeed worst news for Fiat owners. Ankita was best and good in all terms.

Did Fiat mention in the mail as to why the dealership is terminated? If there had been good review about the dealership/workshop, could not understand Fiat's logic of discontinuing the same. Also they dont realize now the pressure will be on the balance two dealers/workshops who will be overloaded and this will soon give rise to unprofessional approach. Can Hydi TFIians collectively write to Fiat India explaining the situation?

Guess this could be the shortest span of dealership/service center (16 months i guess), They tried hard enough to position themselves. They could establish a better workshop but couldnt acquire a better sales point. Not sure if their sales figures have reached FIAT India's expectations.
And the true point is ,"No customer friendly ( customer beneficiary) service will last long in INDIA.Because, its always been money generation over an establishment , but none bother about quality of service they provide for the price customers pay.
This is just a generic opinion, rather the actual reasons could be some thing else too.

Unless there is some criminal or otherwise 'corrupt' behaviour on Ankitha's part that has forced Fiat's hand: this is just what happens when a brand with struggling sales figures and yet with knowledgeable though demanding customers, in a service industry notorious for its multiple perpetual crises of labour turnover and quality, not to mention the financial and ethical and cultural 'quality' of the owners of these dealerships....the short of it is the awful chicken-and-egg situation Fiat and its dealers are stuck in, given the sales and therefore service volumes failures since the relaunch of the independent FASS/dealerships and the re-launch of the Linea, the Punto and of course the 'new' Avventura. Sigh.:blackeye:

FCA would be better advised implementing such, sadly inevitable, dealer/FASS closures as part of a concerted geographical and product-cum-branding/advertising plan (which should include such measures as outsourcing ASS to third parties such as Mahindra First Choice....) rather than on an ad-hoc basis, one here and another there, drip by corrossive-for-brand-prospects drip.:watching::inpain:

Overall sentiment of Fiat dealers everywhere has been the same. Some are incompetent of sales and promotion. Others are deficient in both sales and service. And add to that Fiat's slow and rather inadequate response to changing markets and inability to remain in the limelight and buzz of aam janata.

You simply need to sell volumes for those dealers to listen to you and compete for want of more business. How do we expect the cars to flood service centers with abysmal sales volumes. Some regions already have less affinity to Fiat cars. I hear some old time established dealers with power to sway market trends were lost by Fiat during the Tata tie-up period. Atleast here in Mumbai that has been the case.

Again how about appointing service points via some massive program for those hard to reach areas :). Even some sales queries could be managed that way. Afterall people would like some amount of company control while handing over their cars to these SCs.

This is very sad news for satisfied FIAT customers in Hyderabad, yes, I'm sure that around 90% of FIAT customers are happy with Ankitha SC only. I don't know why FIAT decided this. I think history repeats...!! As usual from 1970's they produce good vehicle like PADMINI, UNO, Palio, Punto but due to their poor decisions (like tie-up with TATA branches) they struggle to survive in market. If FIAT removes a good quality SC like Ankitha...., how can we expect quality in their products...!!! I feel very sad and disappointed with this decision... Hope and we vote for revoke it and extend the Ankitha Service to FIAT vehicles. :( :(:(
