    we bought our new punto emotion from prerana motors rajaji nagar showroom. The buying experience was very nice. I asked quotes from almost all showrooms of Bangalore and to my surprise only prerana and concorde responded back. I decided to go with prerana and the same say I booked it. They told me to deliver the vehicle with in 12-14 days.
    The delivery got delayed from my side as I was stuck with some work. But the vehicle was ready for delivery from 12th day.

    I could not do a PDI due to my office hours but I asked the SP to give me a vehicle for which I can not complain anything about. As promised they delivered it perfectly. The SP given a complete explanation for each and every feature. All the accessories [Body cover, door sill , foot mat, mud flap, reverse parking censor, neck rest, 3M polishing ] promised were in place.

    Funny part is when I was returning to home taking the delivery of the car got a call from KHT motors asking "Saar, u have inquired about punto. ". Which I did almost 15 days back. I replied the call saying that just now I have taken the delivery of the car from prerana.:p

    Hi All,

    I had very bad experience with Prerana yesterday. I had booked Punto emotion on 29th of July. The deal was 1.7 lacs for exchnage value of my car + 15k as exchnage bonus. In the meantime, my company proposed to sponsor the car and prepared the cheque for full amount. Yesterday when I went for PDI along with the cheque, showroom guys refused to honor the deal and reduced the exchnage value of my car to 1.45 lacs. I was mad at this and cancelled the booking immediately. Concerned SA was nice but other staff behaved in a beaurocratic way whihc completely put me off. They were giving gyan to me on market demand supply conditions as if I was a dumb class 4 student.

    This was my first experience with TATA-Fiat and to be candid it's been extremely very bad...wifey says switch to Honda :-(

    I am aware of this particular interaction regarding the exchange as I stepped into the showroom when this discussion was happening. I believe the car that was supposed to be exchanged was Spark, if yes? Would you please divulge the details of when the initial quote was given (please mention the date).

    1) The number of kms run from the date of quote.
    2) Any accidents (not necessarily major), even if its a scratch.
    3) What were the current offers that was given as of your last interaction (which I believe is 26th August 2012)
    4) Was there any sort of communication between you and the dealer from the date of booking (as you have mentioned 29th July 2012)
    5) If yes what was the response.

    Please put forth your replies.

    Its very easy for us to simply blame the dealer without giving the complete details.

    Note - This is not to be offensive or defending the Sales guys, the point is there needs to be a fair assessment of things rather being judgemental right at the beginning. Why I say this is because I have heard a completely different story than what has been posted here. Expecting your reply so that I can post the other side of the story.
