    I am getting free Insurance too! Savings is around 30k.

    Anyways as Paddleshifter suggested to me, I have decided to go with 2011 manufactured vehicle.

    What was the issue? You cannot get better service than Prerana or KHT in Bangalore.

    The FIAT Sales head of Prerana Mr. Vijay is very courteous. You can address any issues with him.

    Prerana Motors - tjet manual not received.

    Hi All,
    While taking the delivery of the vehicle I was assured that I will be getting the manuals in couple of weeks so I was asked to tick mark the checklist for it which I did.
    One Month passed I didn't receive any manuals from them. I contacted the sales rep(Mr Meeraj) who had sold the vehicle many times but I only got assurance that he will get back to me which he never did. I escalated to the Corporate Sales Manager Mr Vijay. He assured me that he will look into it and get back to me.When he didn't I contacted him many times.Every time
    I was assured that he will find out the details and get back. When 5-6 calls over couple of weeks didn't help I decided to log a complaint with FIAT.
    Meanwhile I received the manuals but the normal Linea one not the tjet manuals & service booklet.
    So I logged a complaint in 10th with FIAT. Till 15th there was no response even from FIAT. I called them up on 15th and the rep informed me that he is escalating it and I will be getting a call from FIAT official in 24 hours.Till 20th I didnt get any call so I called them up again on 21st .Again the service rep told me that he is escalating and for sure I will be getting call in 24th hours. I did get a call from fiat official on 22nd who after listening to my complaint informed me that he will make sure that I get a call from the dealer by EOD which I didn't got.
    By evening I got a call back from him again and when I informed that I haven't got a call he assured me that he will check with the dealer and call me back again.
    Till today I have not heard from him again. I called the FIAT and insisted on speaker to their manager. Now again the manager has assured me that he will find out all the details and call me back tomorrow morning.

    My vehicle is due to first service and I am not able to send it because I have not received the manuals.
    The dealership experience is bad and FIAT is also no better. I wonder how they got those JD awards. If this is the kind of service FIAT is meting out to it's premium Linea tjet customers no wonder that their sales are pathetic.
    Don't get me wrong. I am not a FIAT basher rather a FIAT fan but with this kind of service FIAT is going nowhere in india.I am owning a Santro for 5 years and whenever I raised an issue (which was rare as things are taken care well at dealership) they make sure that they are resolved asap without customer needing to call back to check the status.
    Mr Kapoor, you have the right product, a good service network but you need to work a lot at the service levels at your dealerships and your office.

    I dont think manuals are mandatory for giving the car for first service.
    btw even i got from prerana and i still have not received my tjet service manual. they have given me the linea service manual. i have written to fiat india and spoke to many people. now i have stopped following it up.

    apart from this manual fiasco, so far it has been ok.

    You didnot receive the correct manual yet/ :cry: For first service what is required is the service coupon.

    As per the dealer the main culprit is Fiat who normally doesnot send enough correct manual and service coupon booklet for T Jet.

    As mentioned in my post, I have followed up and escalated with Prerana and then with Fiat. I followed up with them regularly and last week many times daily.Apart from assurances after assurances after assurance, I haven't got any update from them. I haven't heard from them as well since last week. I have written to Director in Fiat-india.com and that has also not helped.
    I am at my wits end on how to get them to act.
    Now I have stopped bothering about it. I am anyway sending my vehicle for service tomorrow.
    My main concern right now is the power loss issue and hopefully it will be resolved.
    I agree the manual is a minor glitch but the professionalism or lack of it that FIAT has shown in handling the complaint makes me feel that they don't deserve to be at 2 in JD Power Survey.
