I am new to this forum. I just joined today only although I used to drive first generation Grande Punto.
I would like to share my honest feedback about my second Fiat purchase experience. Last one was during TATA dealership. Now situation has changed it is Ramkay now.
I booked a vehicle on 22nd September paying 10K as advance for Fiat Avventura top end model. Mr Nagaraj was my point of contact in Ramkay. I told him specifically that I am looking for a vehicle which is made four months or later. The plan was to purchase the car using company lease scheme. My company paid the full settlement on 9th October.
I was assigned a 10 month old car and I promptly rejected it on 12th October. By this time one Mr Prakash from Ramkay Corporate Sales came into picture and he offered to order a new car for me. I told him that so long as I can get a new car, I don't mind waiting. But there were no feedback from them for 2 weeks. At last when I called them up they told me that a new order was placed on 23rd October for a new car and delivery is awaited. They were sitting on it and took two week to order a new car. This has caused a lot of delay.
On 26 I got a message from Mr Nagaraj that a new vehicle made in August was assigned to me. But no delivery date is communicated to me. Even today I have no confirmation on the delivery date of the car and they are talking about well before Diwali and all. A car model which is selling around 400 or below per month, this much delay is unacceptable. I have not much option left, but wait for it.
The message is that Ramkay is very inconsistent and no sense of urgency. Anyone booking Fiat car, please try to be black and white with them, in advance booking form write specifically that, you will not be accepting old vehicles which are more than 4 months old. Get them to commit a delivery date.
In my case, I have escalated this to Fiat India and Ramkay. Ramkay do not have any escalation contact in their website. That itself shows that they are not professional enough. If you have some grievances, you have no option to escalate.
Fiat is not changed. They are still shipping old vehicles. So beware of this. Kindly put this word of caution to all Fiat buyers.
Ramkay is spoiling its name which it earned over last couple of years.
Me being a returning customer to them, went to them and said if they offer me same price as RDC offered I will book the car but they made me wait for 45 minutes and said they cannot and guess what it happened recently when Chennai was hit with severe rains and I got stuck in traffic for 6 hours.
They can say what is possible to them instead of playing with customers patience
I have purchased Punto Evo at Ramkay Fiat Velachery on April 2016. I have nothing to complain about. They gave good discounts. The car purchase was a hassle free experience. Mr.Santhosh was the RM and he provided updates regularly during and even after the purchase of the car(for the RC book).

The sales and service is excellent. To be honest the sales executive Mr.Nivas is an Fiat enthusiast and the sales/service team is doing great.
I have purchased Punto Evo Emotion 90hp variant from Ramkay Fiat Velachery. The buying was nice and hassle free. Mr.Daniel was the RM and he provided updates regularly during and after the purchase.
