My experience with my booking of Punto 90 HP from Ramkay fiat is average...I expected a much better one...
Please elaborate your experience. This would help others and also will become a feedback for them.
Last Saturday when i went to Ramkay for my Friend the SA made a lot of funny comments and one of them was " MJD is an Award winning engine. It has WON 8 Awards in US ". And another one "The gap between the engine and the bumper is best in class and also during a frontal impact the engine will fall down to the ground hence the engine is protected" I didn't try to correct him, just nodded my head and moved on.
May I know who is that? Because i am going there in the near future. I may have to avoid this funny comments.
I too accept this , even in service center i inquired about Fiat Linea Tjet Mat & Mud flaps, still saying TJET the person was asking is it diesel ? Oh no!! , i said TJET car still same question !! , after that i didnt utter a word they said they have stock i said thanks and hang up the phone, After one hr a person calling from service asking Sir you have booked your car for service , is it petrol or diesel car ? , The big question is i inquired for accesories and they are asking when you can bring the car to service !!... Big Comn gap

Vijay i too had a similar experience with Ramkay service person. I enquired for fuel pump for palio 1.6 gtx he asked me whether it is petrol or diesel :A
Really funny. This shows the lack of training to the SA's on duty.
At least he did not say that in case of an impact the roof will open and passengers will be ejected
Looks like the SAs are forced to talk something even if it is a nonsense. Initially when he started explaining about the car and features I stopped him stating I own a 90Hp for 2 years and me and my friend are well known about the features, so he need not explain us. All we wanted was a test drive for Punto 1.2 , details for current discounts, finance information and waiting period. I clearly mentioned what we wanted. his senior guy called him, he went and came back and started telling all these nonsense. When he telling such nonsense my friend understood his ignorance stopped him saying (pointing me)
"he is in team fiat and other forums and they discuss a lot about fiat cars so you need not explain all these.
The SA said "it is my duty to tell you the facts about the car and the engine"
why the hell does he need to tell about the MJD when the customers are looking for petrol 1.2.
But I really like to appreciate their attitude for boasting about FIAT to the customers but they should be telling the right things instead of such nonsense. The SA was calm, he was interested to bring business from us, he reacted immediately when we asked is a TD available (at 7:30 PM) and came back telling the TD car is ready. It was exactly opposite to how the Jubilant Nissan dealer reacted to when we checked for the Micra active. The ambiance is very premium. nice to see FIAT cars in such a nice showroom.
@ ackarthik I don't remember his name. just ignore his nonsense comments and take only the things that matters to you for buying the car.
