Agreed. The issue is, there are multiple such instances, right here on the forum. No idea how many more. Any service organization has to be process dependent and not people dependent. In this very issue, what if Adit was not available? What if he was travelling and came back after 10 days and then saw this post?

After all Ex-W is one thing that is optional, but no SE tells you that, always adds that number as if it is mandatory and then not giving out the document in a timely fashion is not acceptable, in my opinion. I honestly think that these issues being reported and then getting addressed by Adit is doing more harm than good.

PS: zenwalker - I have no issues with you not knowing driving or not owning a car. That has never been a pre-requisite here or anywhere else. I have reservations about some of your posts and express the same. Like you have said, Afterall this is a free world. While you think "Imagination is more important than knowledge" which kind of explains most of your posts, I believe in "Quot capita, tot sententiae". Glad you agree with that.

You are right Rajan, but these issues are mentioned in almost all dealership threads.
I am sure you would agree that this issue happened not because adit is on the forum, but one has a chance to get it corrected because he is here.
Yes process oriented thing is always a better option, but we all know its not anywhere.

This is actually similar to Fiat, Fiat is only company where you can reach Mr Mangesh (Head - Customer Relations) or CEO, in case of issue. We can again say, why he should be reachable, and there should be no issues with any of the car. Fair enough, but we all know in practical world cars will have issues and we always feel comfortable when we can reach to Fiat top and get assurances.

It can not be acceptable, and thats why we says its an issue.

    Ravi,

It is not the issue itself that I am talking about. We hardly live in a perfect world and such issues do happen with any dealership. What I am referring to is the general impression that is being created - Any issue with KHT, get on the forum and post. The top man is a member and when he sees the post, he will get the issue resolved.

This in my opinion is harmful. I am sure such issues exist with others too and they are addressed by those people as well, without the whole thing being made so public. For example, I know that there are at least two people from Prerana as well on this forum, but do not post responses to issues being raised with their dealership. Would that mean that those issues do not get addressed by them? I think not.

With much respect Sir, i do agree. But lets consider ourselves. With time bound, situation bound instance bound we some times do mistake. We may or may not realize it at that moment. But when ever we do, its better to go back and say "I am sorry, My mistake" rather than trying to cover it up silently (to me its cheating). Personally i do this most of the times, you or many of you may not agree with me. But its just me and how i see myself in the crowd. Rather than pointing out some 1s mistake and clinging on it, see yourself first is my view point :)

Atleast some thing is better than nothing right? I do not know this Ex-W thingy and issues happened around it, but with general perspective of mine all i wish to say is that let them be bold enough to admit their mistakes and apologies then correct it. Yes escalations to adit isnt needed all time or should not be dependent. But then if every one of us in this country has worked top knock, wouldnt india be heaven to live in? Would there be a position call BOSS needed? No right. So to me lets settle down for something than making things or expecting world to be perfect.

P.S: I may be right or wrong, but thats IMHO.

Sir, You sure are alot elder than me, you sure have more knowledge than me, you sure have seen world more than me.

With all due respect, with many heads comes many comments but not criticism. Though some of your replies to my post was criticizing from where i stand rather than suggestive. That is where i tripped. All i wish to say is, i am not here for spoon feeding. I do my HW much better than expected. But some times you gotta ask, for me its some thing i do not know and hungry to learn, but for others it sounds stupid Q. :)

Completely agree that humans makes mistakes, but would you accept it if the mistakes are repetitive? Nobody would want that to happen. Thats the emphasis on. It does not give you positive vibes if someone senior has to interfere and sort out the issue.

Nobody is supporting anybody here. What we expect and want FIAT dealerships to provide is top class experience. How does top class experience come?

Yes there are other ways of reaching out to Adit and not only TFI. But thats not the intention of either my posts or Rajan's posts. Its good that somebody looks into the issue, but its better to prevent it at the first place. With experience KHT will move towards that ideal world, but it takes time and conscious effort to get there.

I would pose a similar question like your's, what if Adit is not reachable at all? Where do I go? Whom do I approach? This is where the process comes in to picture.

Agreed that the issue was sorted out because Adit is here. But why should that be the case. With your example of FIAT, why should somebody escalate to get the job done at the service center. Does not give positive Vibes. This applies to all the manufacturers and dealers. Not just KHT. Hope, I explained it better for you to get a hang of it.

+100, you have penned it down perfectly.

Boss is there to get things resolved is a bit immature. I know I am sounding harsh, but that's the reality. BOSS is the required to lead, guide, visionary to the organization's mission. I dont think the Boss is required to interfere in the routine activities regularly. Exceptional cases yes, but not with every escalation. If the Boss is being pulled into sorting out issues, then the process calls for a big time rejig.

I think i already said it, each individual has to be aware of their mistakes and correct it immediately with an apology note rather than escalating. So once or twice or thrice is somewhat acceptable. But again and again, i am with you on that.

Some body on this forum said it some where that we indians have an attitude "Chalta hai".... So to me it feels like till its there, these things happen.

there is a lot 2 read before i post this but in a nut shell let me update you that we do have an very aggressive and responsible customer care manager named Vivek who is a very mature and understanding individual. Even if i do not intervene he makes sure things and issues are resolved.

there are comparatively less complaints from any other customer also who is not a member here. They can approach the customer care division and their issues will be resolved without me knowing that i am confident of and trust Vivek for that.

TFI is the only place i interact directly and intervene directly coz of only 1 reason :- I LIKE FIAT AND I LIKE U GUYS HERE !!!
