I and my wife visited the caffe today instead of the whitefield showroom as planned for test drive of the 90HP and it was the worst experience I have had in a car dealership so far! For the first 5 minutes no one even came to us to ask us why we are there and every one there was looking very busy even though there was no other customer in sight! Finally someone came and when I told him that I wanted a test drive, he curtly replied that the test drive car was unavailable and vanished! He had a "why are you wasting my time" kind of tone in his when talking and it was totally off-putting. Then we were looking at the 90HP sports display vehicle inside the showroom when finally a SA named Sikander Ahmed came to us and asked us what we wanted. And when we asked for the test drive, he was able to arrange for the test drive car in 5 minutes. I still don't understand from where the test drive vehicle suddenly materialized! After the test drive, though I told them that I would be booking the car in January, they didn't even care to take down my contact details. :-D No wonder fiat struggles to sell its cars! From their behavior, it looked like they have sold their target quota of cars for december due to the huge discounts and they don't care about customers anymore. I have been to multiple car dealerships in bangalore for test drives and this is by far the worst experience! All the other dealerships have been very courteous and they keep calling and checking if we need any more test drives to decide even though some of them have a huge waiting time for their cars! I am seriously reconsidering my decision to buy a punto now!
