    Adit's posts are really impressive and it's great to see someone taking Interest in Fiat cars even after its sold! Had a lovely black Palio Elx nv 1.2 for 5 years, loved the car! Only that it was a petrol. I made a post on the faulty timing chain in 90 hp engines and learnt that it was a problem only with the 2010 model. Would be great to hear your views Adit .

    with manufacturing anything there is always room fr errors especially with any machinery. A car also is a machine. petrol or diesel or LPG..... there could have been a batch of cars manufactured where in the vendor/supplier of a certain part would not have tested its products thoroughly . Yes during the production and testing of a new car by the manufacturer it would have performed well but these issues crop up only after a certain amount of use. That is why they have warranty and goodwill warranties in cases to ensure the customer is not taxed for such issues.

    moreover sine a customer has bought the car from us dealers i only see it fair that we ensure that they get the service they deserve. I am not saying KHT is perfect and others r not. But yes i do try to do my bit in ensuring what ever is within my reach i shall make sure i do.

    I'd a disappointing experience after a fabulous start to the relationship experience. I dont know to what extent FIAT to blame and to what extent KHT to blame.
    I booked a Linea MJD Emotion OB on 4th June at KHT. Today I have been told that the free insurance cover promised at the time of booking was only for month of May. SA tried to convince me that he has fought the battle for me and has got me a 40% discount on the same. i.e Of the INR 35K insurance amount, I will have to pay 60% (i.e. INR 21 K). This is not done ya.. I should have been given realistic numbers at the time of booking. If SA is to be believed, he got this news much later.
    Then it is FIAT's fault and KHT should take this up with FIAT.

    I'd already stretched my budget from Punto to Linea and this news has thrown all the plans for a toss!

    There is an update.
    I sent mail to FIAT personnel. I didnt get any reply from that id or any other FIAT person. Adit's reply also still awaited !
    But, today my SA Irshad called me up to say that the company will standby its original offer of free insurance! So, I am much relieved !

    Every month the retail schemes of all cars change. so once the month is over we cannot give the same scheme until confirmed by the principal company......and moreover i cant even invoice it as invoicing is done on the tata crm online....the crm wont accept it fr me 2 invoice......so teh full control lies in their hands.......1st to 31st is the scheme cycle......but yes i am aware of your case though i am reading this post of yours today as Irshad did bring it 2 my notice and i spoke 2 fiat 2 resolve it.... :)

    I completely understand the scenario and the only point was that either principal company should make communications by 1st of the month and percolate to all the dealerships immediately... and if that doesnt happen, principal company should honor the commitment that franchisee has given to the customer.

    There are no other issues.. and believe there will be none in future as well !

    usually by the 3rd of the month the new schemes are always circulated and informed to dealerships.
