This is to bring to your notice that as mentioned my car delivery which was on Oct 7th has been delayed indefinitely (dnno till when).
I completely blame the Dealer (Aadya motors, Bangalore) for the same. I had booked the Car(punto 90hp white) on Sept 6th and also on the same day completed my Agreement formalities for the Loan taken from State Bank of Mysore. As adviced by the Fiat executive i paid a very nominal sum of Rs.1000/- for the stamping of the Agreement papers. He also then demanded me of Rs.1500 for not conducting the verification of my Address (which wouldnt have made a difference to me, coz my documentation was totally clear) and also some money for the manager as his commission. I was taken aback but dint want to make an issue for such a small sum. However, i told the Finance executive representing Fiat that i will be making whatever the payment at the showroom and not there and hence what i understand from the Bank manager was..he took back the amount i paid for stamping.
Let me cut short the story and now my Bank loan has been rejected due to not stamping of the agreement papers which is the result of Fiat representative. Now i am the process of applying a loan through another bank. I am totally disappointed by the Customer service of Fiat(dealer). I am actually wondering what can be done to get them to the books. Request you all to kindly advice me on what can be done so something like this doesnt happen to anyone els.

    Thanks
    Rohit.

What is this 1500 for commission, I never heard of this kind of money being demanded.

If Aadya is not doing work properly, suggest to move to another dealer in the city.
Also, do put your complaint to Fiat - service.India@fiat.com - or here - https://www.fiat-india.com/customer-support/

I was adviced by the Bank manager of processing fees...which is Rs.1200 and Rs 600 for stamping...however the representative never mentioned about processing fees but he infact stated Rs.1500 for commission ..i agree the aadya motors Sales manager is helping me out but this kind of service and i am totally disappointed.

If the documents are clear, why does the manager require commission? If you have agreed to pay the commission, then its like paying bribe to do his daily job which isn't correct.

I strongly suggest you cancel the booking, move to the other dealer. What the finance executive/bank executive is doing is unethical. You have two options, VECTO n FIAT caffe.

Also bring this to the notice of Fiat.

    hi rohit.rb7
i also paid 1200 for processing fees to my account they debited from my SB and 600 for stamping.
Stamping will be 500 for 5.85 lakhs(85% on road price funding) 100 for the person who prepares it.
For me also executive asked 500 rs for not verifying the address.I directly called his manager and complained and threatened him to cancel the vehicle he immediately called executive and gave good hearing.my loan got sanctioned in flat 10hrs i took one day leave and completed the process.
Regarding AADYA they are pathetic totally unprofessional.better others should avoid them you can read my ownership log.

you can contact MR H K Ramanatha he is a deputy manager in SBM(car loan dept) main branch he is a nice gentleman who helped me to get the loan without any issues.

As u said...i was in contact with Mr. Ramanatha only...he himself told me to cancel my booking from Aadya n come directly to him so i can book the car from another dealer...however within a couple of day i dnt know what happened but my loan is rejected. I also spoke to the AGM of SBM(Mr.Ramesh). He stated that the executive had enough complaints and they will be cancelling tie up with aadya...and also asked me to take up the matter directly with Aadya.
The best part was when i complained to aadya motors about there finance representative asking me money for other than processing fees...they too supported him.
This being my 1st car ..i am actually disappointed at choosing fiat against many peoples wishes...I am really sorry to tell this but my excitement of buying a fiat is all over and i might aswell think about going for another brand alltogether...though i am a fiat enthusiast...so imagine how a normal person going for Fiat would feel like.

    Dear nkrishnap,

I never agreed to pay the commission but i told the representative i will be making whatever the payment at the showroom directly...and i put this across to the manager at aadya...so instead of completing the job of stamping on the agreement..he took back the money i had paid for stamping and has kept it pending till 30-Sept-12 and my loan is rejected. I am taking this up with fiat ..let me keep you all updated about the progress.

    Thank you all.

this dissapointment is temporary my friend and it will last only until you get your car. since you like the punto, going for any other car will mean you will feel dissapointed whenever you spot another punto while driving.

why do you want to spoil your happiness because of one persons mistake.
make him repent for his mistake by escalating to fiat with confirmation emails from bank and move on to another dealer.

+100. As rightly said, why should you be compromising your choice for somebody else's greed. Dump the dealer and either go to Caffe or Vecto and you should be a happy person in the end.

@ Rohit. Do report this practice to Fiat and let them face the heat. I am forwarding the link to this thread to one of them now.

Commission to the bank manager/official is unheard of! You should report it to Fiat if the finance executive has demanded so. And it is better sometimes to get the e-stamp papers by yourself and give it to the bank officials. They will process it and you don't have to worry. At-least that is what happened in my case, when I got my punto from Aadya in 2012. My loan was sanctioned in 1 hour based only on CIBIL score (as my loan amount was only 40% of the OTR price) All documentation was done and I bought the e-stamp papers after 2 days and gave it to the bank manager, he got things typed and got my signature. Rs. 100 per lakh is what you have to get. For eg, for 5 lakhs loan, 500 rs e-stamp.
Also do cross verify whether that is the only reason why your loan got rejected. because in this period of low sales and subsequently , low loan disbursements, banks may not be too strict about these things.
